Really old r/ about Skullface
Many people with lots of good points and plot holes... at this point I think Kojima just lost the mojo for this stuff, he's good at creating cool characters but then he tries to go full Tarantino on the script and fails.
He makes things convoluted just to have the "bad guy" talk a little more.
At the end of the day the gameplay is about freedom, the story is about non closure.
For me, Skullface blows MB to hell (in GZ)after a succesful plan and went on to catch Zero... the Skullface we see here is the way V's brain has to have closure with all that happened, and as a brainedwashed training ground for later (MG).
Remember that the people closer to you are the ones that lies the most, your comrades.
At the end of MGS3 Ocelot reveal that he was Adam so he can't be on MB and skullface.
Well, when you use the medic database in Mgs3 you can see she even lied about her chest attributes.
