METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN

METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN

MGSV not launching
Hi. After installing Windows 11, I've notice the game is not launching. I have removed mods, uninstalled and reinstalled, and verified my game files. I have even clicked on the .exe directly.
Does anyone have a similar issue? Any ideas on how to fix it?

Same issue, looking for a fix myself no luck yet.

Current steps already taken :
1. Updated drivers,
2. Updated windows
3. Verified game files,
4. Deleted download cache.
5 Gave metal gear firewall exception

If I find fix i'll update this post

=============EDIT UPDATE============
OK I fixed it for myself. I didn't have the MSVCP110.dll file which comes from Visual C++ redistributable,

go here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-160 and download.

restart pc and then run it again and repair for some reason on restart it still didn't start so I had to run repair as well after restart. .

My guess is that the window update references this new file and if it's the old file it says "hey you don't have the correct version visual file i'm looking for so i'm just going to throw an error and crash."
