- The machine we hear is an MSX2 computer, the machine the original Metal Gear (MSX2 1987) game was made for.
- Demon Snake breaks the mirror and Venom Snake walks into the smoke...
If you have The Legacy Collection for Ps3 you can play Metal Gear (MX2 1987) which features the Operation Intrude N313 mission. You play as Solid Snake, where he needs to rescue Gray Fox from the fortress of Outer Heaven.
- Note that Solid Snake is sent to rescue Gray Fox who was captured. Presumably, Gray Fox's mission was Operation Intrude N312.
Everything between these 2 canon plot points is pure speculation.
dont take it as cannon how solid snake didnt know real big boss?arent the real one trained him?how the hell solid snake didnt notice a big horn on big boss out of no where? xD
who the hell rescued gray fox?! real boss or venom?
why its so stupid in the begining arent zero and ocelot wanna protect real boss from getting hurt? if so then who the hell idea was to send the man to rescue venom from the hostpital xD
and if infact real boss is ishmael in the hospital how the hell he is too weak and cant even cqc quiet(just note in that time quiet wasnt a super sniper too and venom beat her in cqc is her super sniper form ....)
and where exactly did real big boss go after the hospital?!
there are 100 maybe 1000s more questions that i cant remember because i didnt play this mess for a year now
kojima f**** up the story just how f***** up his new game xD
and in operation intrude big boss send solid to rescue gray fox but its a trap for solid to die and when big boss sees how good is solid he reveals himself to be the real leader of outer heaven
now explain to me who sent solid in outer heaven?! and who the hell did fight him xD
if a logical person want to make a body double dont you think he would peak a healthy man not someone who doesnt have a hand a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ horn in his head?! and how the hell these 2 (venom and boss) have the same voice?! how did no one ask him hey man when did u lost ur ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hand?where did u get that horn?! the whole story is so stupid ......
just to suffer?
Kojima never cared about writing a consistent story which is why he always retconned previous Metal Gear games.
Imo he should have made every Metal Gear Solid sequel set in a different world than previous games. So he wouldn't have to worry about making it somehow compatible with previous games.
i can acutally answer all of sev7en's questions but i am so tired of explaining the games over and over again (especially in this thread) that i refuse to do it. their understanding of it is their understanding of it, no big deal.
But the whole think was created before Venom idea, so in MG1 and MG2 there is no Venom, he was added in MGSV.
So Venom was just created to retcon a plot point that was already explained.
Kinda funny that the whole MGS 1 plot has this issue that in MG 2:SS(MSX version) big boss never told Snake that he was his father but it was just added to the story.
MGS as whole has a inconsistent storyline. I still stand to my point that Kojima shouldn't have made the games connected.(Each time he should have made them with completely different characters.)
Solid Snake's mission in Metal Gear (MSX2) is to rescue Gray Fox and to retrieve false information from Outer Heaven. The false information is that Metal Gear's Big Boss looks like Naked Snake or, in other words, Big Boss does not have a body double. The false information in Metal Gear is the boss battle optics. The truth is that Metal Gear's Big Boss was the phantom, but Solid Snake's perspective doesn't reveal that. Solid Snake's perspective only reveals that there are 2 Big Bosses, 1 in Metal Gear (MSX2) and another in Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. We as players don't realize the *truth* of the Metal Gear Solid saga until Phantom Pain. It's a triple perspective shift.
1st perspective: Solid's false visuals represented by the final boss battle in Metal Gear (MSX2)
2nd perspective: Venom's hypnogogiac perspective in the Phantom Pain
3rd perspective: The player's perspective after playing BOTH characters.
1)maybe konami forced him
2)i still like how drama turned out around venom snake
