Do you think Big Boss is a villain?
He used the people in the hospital as meatshields to let him escape and he used Venom to build Outer Heave

But... but (MAJOR spoiler) Big Boss wasn't the one who escaped the hospital... and that wasn't Outer Heaven anyway.

If we start to connect dots, its not going to be pretty. MG1/2 & MGS1-3 were not created with the larger story in mind. So while its the favorite hobby of any MGS fan, its not worthwhile connecting non-existent dots.

Enjoy this game for what it was and don't go down rabbit holes.

he didn't "used (them) as meatshields", there simply isn't a way to save those people
and although it's a ♥♥♥♥ move to strip a person off of his entire identity
1. the medic would have happily gave his life, literally and figuratively to Big Boss
2. i don't think Big Boss see Venom as his double, but as another Big Boss, an equal.

Maybe in general because of questionable behaviour and ideas.

Not to mention, Zero put them into hospital.

And yeah, as some one said above, looks like mg game were made without thinking of continuation (mgsv is the first time Venom appers in mg series)

Whole thing with Hospital is a plan of Zero. It has nothing to do with Big Boss. And he was put in there by another division of Cipher.

And every MGS supposed to be final. So Big Boss is kind of different in every game. He is never been good, only ending of MGS-4 tries to make him some kind of hero.

And in MGS-V he really does not do anything. And his description in MG-2 is quite different. At this time he supposed to burn villages for Lolz and creating army of child soldiers. Too boost ranks of Outer heaven in future.

I did. You are talking about Big Boss escaping the hospital as the player. (given the body shield comment). Unless I completely jumbled up my memory from almost 5yrs ago, we never play as Big Boss. We only control Venom.

Yes, but the bandaged guy in the beginning is Big Boss.

It maybe will sound crazy, but hospital became victim of skullface cruelty

And not BB or Zero.
If the hospital were a set up, it would have more guards, but instead the only ppl who were involved doctor, nurse, Ishmael

In "Truth tapes". It is set up. And gurads are among stuff and "ill" to look for boss.

I see quite a few people didn't finish the game, pay attention to the story, or both.

Yes. Big Boss absolutely is a villain. Granted, he's surrounded by other villains so it's hard to say that he's the worst of them all. Zero is worse, and Skull Face probably even worse than him.

Just look at MGS4 to see how these three ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ manage to ruin the world.
