So easy for Steam to clean the mess up. What's the point in vs if cheating is allowed?
It's not half. Not even near half. I would say a good 80% have hacked vehicles and weapons.
On any given week there's maybe 4 that haven't cheated.
On the other side of that, I don't really care so much about PF battles. It's not real battles like FOB or MGO. The cheaters actually help the scores on the top side of it which results in much higher PF points earned than would have had previously, so it actually works out in my favor to be cheater heavy at the higher levels. Don't really care otherwise.
FOB cheaters, now that's worth reporting. Record video, upload to youtube and report with link to vid.
Steam is not responsible for what people do in games. It's not Steam's game, they're just the medium of distribution. The only exception to that are games that the author chooses to implement Steam's ban system, which Konami did not, so it's up to Konami to handle cheaters as they wish.
You should report cheaters directly to Konami here....

Thanks for this.
But as long as Steam has a "report cheating in a game" function, I'll use that too. Otherwise, why is it there?
It's there for those that have implemented some form of Steam's ban system. Steam has absolutely ZERO control over MGSV. You can report it there, but there is nothing Steam can do about it.
Many people will see the landscape of the MGO community and think "Oh it's much easier to get away with cheating, no point in not doing it", so it's not that the MGO community is filled with cheaters, but it attracts them.
As soon as a few people start cheating it turns into an avalanche of cheetz and paranoia.
This reminds me of playing Netstorm: Islands at War back in the 90's. If you're going to play that game. play it SP or Local LAN only. Play on the server and they have pre-made scripts to construct WAY WAY faster than is humanly possible to do with KB&M. It's ridiculous. I played online only a few times because playing with 7 cheats and you're the only one not cheating is no fun, but EVERYONE was using scripts.
V is a fantastic game from a single player standpoint. and modding helps make it better.
those who cheat and go online: shame on you.
