Does pausing (pressing esc) stop timer for mission?

I might need to watch some videos in a middle of a mission to try to get S rank but just curious if pressing esc to pause the game still adds to the mission time

no it doesnt stop. the time still goes.

If you true pause it should. The one window where you can go back to title screen. Even the game behind it pauses. It freezes all movements. I don't see why it wouldn't pause timer... o.O

If you use escape key to pause the game it should stop a timer. It does for me.
