Update 1.0.12.0 broke my game
Since the new Patch 22.8.2017 Version 1.0.12.0, I can't get my game to run. It's crashes somewhere in the loading/ Logos when starting.
Tried executing as admin, verifying game file integrity, reinstalling and been searching for solutions everywhere.
Please don't tell me I'm the only one who is unable to start the game since today.
Win10, Steam (duh). Tried with and without mods (Snakebite).
EDIT: If anyone can tell me how to uninstall the latest update and play offline only on an older version, that would be ablsolutely fine for now.

How come you have obtained 250+ guards in a sec (without having raised all your unit to level 50 too) and how you have develloped 100+ items in a second ? That may explain some stuff, zam.

@disterio: I have updated Snakebite, but I think that is not the problem, as I can't start without Snakebite as well.
@Deathraven13: I imported a save from my... um... other installment of the game. I'm preetty sure that has nothing to do with it, since I have played without problems before today.

Maybe a save compatibility problem wich would explain why it crash at the loading screen, especially since it seems that you have installed that save at least 2 times, if it's not a problem with snakebite then considere that the save bugged your game, no idea how to correct those but at least you'll have some hint on what to research, zam.

Well the new snakebite manager update works with MGS5 however my mods are outdated. What mods are you using?

So I deleted my saves (311340/remote and 287700/local) and Geforce Experience (to stupid to shut it off properly, and i read it has caused these problems in the past and some with the same problem could fix it this way). Neither worked. I have started from Steam, without Snakebite.
Tried to start through Snakebite without any mods. Didn't work.
This is the error btw.

Yes, multiple times. Finds stuff whenever I activate Snakebite, so I guess it reverses it to non-snakebite MGSV

311340 is only ground zeroes.

Is your answer - YES. SO delete it. New update killed FOV mod and its weird like hell

I think it uses that to store your save after its transfered or at least a form of it that tells the game what you have unlocked from it.

Suspected as much. Now game's working again.

Any alternatives or updates to the FOV mod though?

Holy crap, it actually worked. I didn't even realize that thing actually worked and was there. I feel kinda stupid, but thank you very much. This actually fixed it. <3

Not now, i asked developer of this mod on Reddit, if he give info how to update it or he do it for MGS fans by himself, i'll write about it)
