you'll get used to it. the only downside is the aiming part for me with a controller. If you want reliable fast aim use Keyboard and Mouse.
If you really can't deal with not having the playstation button icons show up, there's a mod for that.
I bought a PS4 controller and im playing the division with it and its native dualshock4 support xD
also, here you go - https://polygon.com/2016/10/12/13262536/ps4-dualshock-4-controller-support-steam-pc-valve
I gotta necro this simply because you are arguing for the sake of arguing. You made an ignorant statement, got proven wrong, and can't just fess up to it like an adult. I'll join in and inform you that I have played at least 5 titles on PC that supported a PS4 pad directly.
As in, I plugged the Dualshock 4 in, loaded up the game, and had PS4 button prompts without hassle.
Deathscare described the process step by step.
" either x-input(xbox controllers) and d-input (any controller that's not an xbox controller)"
"The computer still reads the ps4 controller as a d-input controller and so does steam, so all that setting does is let steam recognize your controller among other wireless controllers."
d-input detecting DS4 controllers and using DS4 inputs still doesn't qualify as native DS4 support. You are the one who is most ignorant here.
