METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN

METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN

About Battle Gear and the yellow icon on top of it
Sorry about the numerous topics but this game does a horrible job of explaining anything at all. When Hal first started developing it, I got a yellow mission marker right on top of the side-op training marker on the R&D platform which was ridiculously confusing since I couldn't figure out how to get in the hangar. I finally did get in and he just said "Snake" and that was it.

Fast forward to now. It's completed, the yellow marker is still there, and Miller just told me to send it on a dispatch mission to test it out but I have absolutely no idea how to send the battle gear with a dispatch squad. I've looked all over the dispatch options but I can't figure out how to send tanks, trucks, or anything on dispatch missions. Sadly, I just realized a few days ago that the default dispatch missions are all Online only and I've had the beginner offline dispatch missions incomplete since day one so I'm slowly catching up on those (I never could figure out how ti destroy munition sheds or helmet sheds like the loading screen told me until a few days ago).

Its the "story" dispatch missions i.e the yellow dot next to them on the dispatch menu. Only one of these has you send out the battle tank which you cant even see in action
The yellow marker on motherbase will always be there, even at 100%

Well that could have easily been explained in-game. Why did Kojima leave so much out?

He was let go - so the game was released in an unfinished alpha

I thought he was let go after this game came out because he refused to work on MGS Survive (or whatever that abomination is called).

No they fired him because kojima wanted to spend more time on tpp, chapter 3, more plot lines to tie things up with eli etc. Konami wanted to just ship the game out asap since they knew its a mg game and fans were aching for it

Kojima does love making his demo as detailed as possible (like silent hills) and whats good is his demos arent even the main game itself. Whereas every demo will be a cut section of a game
