It's the closest you'll probably get to MGSV feel, open world and dynamics.
Didn't realised - there is a Gold Edition

I hate this game. Controls, especially when you have to fight, are sloppy difficult. Can't stand the "perfect timing" kind of battle control. If you're off time, you're dead. I barely finished the tutorial and said screw this. I'm not dealing with that kind of fighting every time I get spotted. ANNOOYYYIINNGG.

What about it?
Some of the suggestions on here are great. Sniper Elite 4, Splinter Cells Blacklist and Chaos theory are absolutely fantastic games if you haven't tried them. Sniper Elite 4 in particular plays a lot like MGS 5 without the story or base management aspects. If you like strategy games, I had a blast with Phantom Doctrine. I'm about to start Death to Spies. I will see how that one is.
Cool, I'll try to check those out! I remembered I also have the first of the more recent Hitman games that I bought during a sale a few months back too; I really loved Hitman 2 so I'm sure I'll like the first part a lot. But I'll also definitely check out SE4 and Blacklist-- Splinter Cell is a series I've had some good times with over the years.
Also, try out classic Thief (not the new one which sucks)
