Nintendo version for DS or whatever it was had horrendous controls.

Maybe because of lacking buttons

Would be very cool, being able to play MGSV on the go. Mk11, which is solely an 8th gen title got a switch port with no compromises and 60fps standard of fighting games being still intact so it's entirely possible for the game to run optimally w/o issues.

Even if they added some extra culling, cut down the render distance a bit, it wouldn't be impossible for sure

I’d prefer Twin Snakes to finally get a port. It might not be everyone’s favorite version, but at this point it’s ridiculously rare and has no ports.

Sadly I doubt we will ever see a switch mgs v phantom pain or ground zero since well konami will most likely not care about porting those games over to switch it's not something that's in there to do list but the gambling machines are I won't lie the mgs 3 gambling machine looks super nice the graphics look amazing 10/10 from the vids I've seen of it god I wish I could buy mgs3 with those graphics

At this point I would just settle for a straight port of the HD collection from last gen, MGS2, 3 and Peacewalker on PC. It is almost criminal that I can not legally play my favorite game series unless I dust off my old PS3.

Though how dare yeee speak badly about Nintendo TRIGGERED xD lol nah fam jk yeah I agree that system is pretty low end imo the only thing that's good about it is that it allows you to take it on the go. But thats my opinion

Nintendo's main weakness is that they don't care about 3rd party support from other publishers.
That is why their systems are always graphically inferior.

It's also a pretty wasted opportunity that their consoles never had a GTA game.(The most popular game franchise of all time)

True. But atleast they are allowing somewhat mature games on their platform like doom etc.

MGSV:TPP would be an interesting and entirely feasible port to see but is unlikely to ever happen. The main matter would really come down to profitability in Konami's eyes. Also I've seen the switch struggle with strong weather effects in general (the Afghan sandstorms come to mind in particular.)
