Can Quiet get Pregnant?

I'm thinking about commissioning some fanart and i wanted your theories on if she could have kids. Like i think there's probably a good chance she couldn't actually get pregnant because of the parasites even if they used cloning science to make sperm and ovum for her.

Also other characters can have kids, Miller has a daughter in the originally MGS games. eva, jack and olga. ocelot.

Military bonds are non-familial. So are bonds of statehood, nationality, power. The people who have kids in this situation have to decide between giving up their power and giving up their children. Otherwise, that's leverage.

Probably a part of why Big Boss was so bothered by the cloning: in the language of power it was Zero attempting to compromise him. To make him redundant, and thus to remove any true meaning he held as an individual. Another soldier to be sacrificed; another clone to be thrown away.

From a storytelling standpoint a focus on lineage would be similar: individuals become unimportant, another cog in the dynasty-machine. Just more franchising opportunities; more raw recruits to knowingly send to their doom. Pairing everyone up would reinforce that idea, rather than tear it down. Ocelot's story with Olga, along with Raiden's entrance into it, covers most of these bases without creating an echo chamber around them.




It's kind of a toss-up whether she could or not. Humans could interbreed with Neanderthals, so maybe.

Quiet approached BIg Boss to assassinate him at Cyprus hospital. Ishmael used flammable chemicals and lit her on fire. She panicked and fell out of the building. Skullface recovered her and gave her Parasite Therapy. She refused the Wolbachia treatment, and Code Talker said "Perhaps it was because some part of her still wanted revenge... against YOU (Big Boss.) "

So, Quiet is self-conflicted. She was sent to try to kill Big Boss one last time. She failed - and as a backup plan she was to carry the English strain and infect everyone there. She then caught feelings for Big Boss and decided to remain silent. She left, and while wandering Afghanistan she did not receive water for an extended period of time - water is what is needed to keep the parasites nourished, so she was severely weakened which is how the Soviets captured her. When the Soviet soldier attempted to try to rape her, he began to drown her, not realizing this rejuvenated the parasites and she regained her strength to fight against the Mechanized Infantry unit.

Afterwards nobody really knows what happened but since she spoke English to save Big Boss from the snake bite he suffered after the battle, she had to vanish forever. She could have chosen to get the treatment but I'm assuming for whatever reason the remorse and guilt she felt lead her to either commit some deliberate act of fatal self infliction or she simply went to roam places that had no people there so that english speaking people would not be affected.
