Apparently Japanese models like to take them as they're balanced nutrition, letting them lose weight or something.
That was a long time ago, kind of funny Snake likes it as much as instant noodles, and instant noodles are not healthy.

Unfortunately, much like the Tactical Cardboard Box, they are too expensive to manufacture to see much use on the battlefield. They're usually upstaged by peanut butter and fruit cocktail.
