Quiet headshot raising helmet response question
As the title suggests i'd like to confirm whether or not Quiet raises the Helmet response when making successful headshots on regular soldiers, i'm asking since i've always wondered if Quiet alone can raise said response level or not, and I don't think the MGSV TPP guide book mentions if said method does so or not, so if anyone can verify this then I would greatly appreciate it since I usually make body shots when tranqing soldiers outside of Nuke-Hunting in FOBs and so forth since it's surprisingly effect once you get the hang of it as I do, really. All-in-all, i'm wondering if Quiet making headshots alone raises said Helmet response level or not. :higu_mion: Also, I usually use Quiet's Guilty Butterfly with suppressor attached, and, to this day, i'm still wondering if the little "supply spots" she leaves behind when told to scout out a major enemy outpost area far ahead of you eats your mats away or not (one of the main reasons of why I NEVER call for a resupply drops, as it can quite literally eat through your mats like acid, not even CLOSE to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ here), as that is a burning question that still remains unanswered for me to this very day... :UnhappyLilith:

First as you progress through the game the helmet response is progressing too, probably with your heroism/fame rating.Other than that Quiet's helmet shots will raise the alert level with every shot leading to blind fire and mortar strikes as well as tank and vehicle attacks.
Secondly Quiet is not responsible for these supply spots, the support unit is and is unlocked and advanced through raising the support unit level.
I am pretty sure thats the case , but will place this, in my opinion here, just in case.

I always be extra careful though and only let Quiet fire when it's a sure shot and it won't proc perma-caution phase of course. So the little "supply spots" Quiet leaves behind DOES eat through your mats then? I dunno, how can you be sure? I need a total verification on that topic, hence why I don't always bring Quiet as my chosen Buddy as i'll feel a LOT better once I know whether or not the little "supply spots" she leaves behind when scouting enemy outposts and so forth eat through your mats as I said before. Thanks for answering of whether or not Quiet raises the helmet response level though, I appreciate it since I thought that there was a loophole to bypass/prevent the helmet response level from being raised (i'm not talking about the "caution/alert phases" just to clarify, i'm referring to the small icons located on the iDroid's map screen of course, hence those "response levels" as mentioned earlier) if you solely use Quiet exclusively for headshot business since, as I said before, I usually do bod (what I prefer to call it usually) shots to never raise the helmet response, thus leaving it free to exploit.

You can despatch a combat unit to raid the helmet supply thus enemies will not be supplied with helmets,Goes the same for riot suits, body armor, cameras, machineguns, sniper rifles in some cases etc.you will hit it most likely in the near future

I already know about that all too well, due to my previous hefty experience with TPP from my 360 (I migrated to PS3's TPP due to it not charging for its online service for multiplayer aspect such as FOBs and so forth, unlikely 360's, so yeah), so as long as you don't due headshots yourself then the helmet response stays completely inert/inactive, so yeah, and besides that, as I said before, bod shots are much more effect for non-riot suiters, really, since you can tranq-drop them like dominoes as i've done so many times over in the past with VERY effective results.
