Hi all,

I'm aware there are multiple threads about this already with fixes, and I have tried multiple, but none work for me. My guess as to why is that the game has been patched since the fixes were made, most are from around 2015.

I'm trying to run at 3440 x 1440, and the fixes make that resolution selectable via the options menu in-game but all result in the same thing - I hit apply and it just plays at 2560 x 1440 with black bars either side, even though the options menu tells me its running at 3440 x 1440.

So does anybody know of any CURRENT patches / fixes that work.

Thanks for the reply. They're the same fixes I tried that were from a couple of years ago. Just to be double sure I did the second one with the hex editor from that video, same result. Here's a couple of print screens to illustrate, one shows 3440 x 1440 in options menu, but clearly black bars down the sides.

i have the same problem, with the difference that i have a 1280x1024(5:4) monitor. I searched through half of the internet and tried many tricks that modified the hex values, and it just didnt work - the game launches with black bars no matter what i do. Maybe someone has any suggestions?

Does yours display the desired resolution in the settings once you have done the hex edit but isn't actually displaying in that resolution?

yes, but it does even without the patch. The game has to be fullscreen though to see it written

i did the 1st step with the hex editor and i still have the black bars on the left and right what gives!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How do you know? Your screenshots are 16:9 (1920x1080). Your used this fix for a long time?

I know because I've been playing this game for over 2 years now and I'm VERY active in the forum. In the last 2 years there have been many come through using and talking about Ultra Wide format. I don't have to use the format to have read all the information on it. That isn't even counting that this game does not use the VAC ban system, which is what the original question was about.

In fact, it does not have the anti vac system, but I thought it could cause problems due to multiplayer mode. Thank you for your time and willingness to help!

The resolution patcher links still work in some places but
NEED the Marker Fix links for CheatEngine, those do not work anymore and I cannot find any updated links anywhere for this.
