How do I make quiet stop killing everybody (it's getting really annoying)

This is really getting on my nerves. Quiet is a really good buddy and I just want her to mark people or not kill them. It's just when ever reflex mode engages. Im about to use my tranq gun and it's easy shots, I never miss. I shoot the guy with my tranq gun so reflex mode ends but then it ends and quiet just decides to ♥♥♥♥ing shoot him in the head when he's already been dealt with by me (IM TRYING to do the run in which you dont kill everybody ). I've tried everything. Scout. Attack. Calling her name. I have no idea how to make her stop shooting everything that engages reflex mode. Reflex is just when it's slow-mo and stuff. I want to fulton extract the doods not blow their brains off and get them to freak out engaging high-alert mode which pisses me off. I dont know if I have to preset her to non-lethal on the Beginning mission section but I dont think it should be that way. I mean cmon. I just want to fulton the guys. Somebody leave an answer. I have no idea what Im doing wrong.

You can't. Develop a silenced tranq rifle for her or just use D-Dog, he's way more useful for stealth and won't cause every soldier to wear a helmet after a few hours of playing.

So yeah, either the tranq rifle or you have to be very... Quiet.

But Queit is mostly a fire support buddy. If you don't want to shoot dudes, just to mark them, take the dog.


i had frustrating moments, when running to LZ with mission perfectly accomplished, and suddenly some random enemy doofus is taking a leak there apparently. He sees me, tries to shoot, i tranq the guy and notice the he's an S! But when i run to fulton his ass, its good old "Pequod is in hot! Find cover!" and poor sleeping dude mashed into spaghetti bolognese...

You can open the map and scroll down to the scout option for Quite and have her move to an area to have her mark all the enemies. She'll sit at that area humming away till you give her the order to fire.

As for her shooting she doesn't fire on her own unless you've used the Covering fire option where she just goes ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on everything.

But yeah I'd recommend overall just getting her the silenced tranq rifle that thing is seriously broken up until everyone and their grandmother is wearing five helmets.

I had to ground Quiet to NL only. Even then, she'll sleep people and I don't even know where they're at because they're not marked, then I'm think I have all the time in the world, then they wake up and spot my dumb ass.

She'll cover you if you're getting into danger, if you don't want her to do anything besides scouting the grounds, send her to another camp when she's done.

There is a Stop Cover button guys xD.

"Cover me" tells her to go on a manslaughter while "cease fire" tells her to stop doing that, there's no command to tell her to not shoot at all, she'll still attack if you alert someone.

Okay this problem has been resolved so please... Quit commenting I just made quiet go on a few side-ops with me to develop the tranq rifle and it's solved. I know how to make her stop shooting with commands so no worries.

Don't look at it that way. Take it as them trying to answer a question with their own limited knowledge of the game. You're going to get a simpleton's response. The question itself is above their head.

Stop Cover is the obvious *facepalm* duh! answer, for someone with only half a brain. Stop cover doesn't help if you're spotted, but you should know that. The only answer to Quiet killing everyone is to make her NL. That is the ONLY answer to give, which is what he eventually did. Anything short of that is just you trying to sound smart, but looking dumb.
