Yes, it can...
N.KATA Jan 24, 2019 @ 10:27am
what about a gtx 1050 ti 4gb vram - 12gb ram - i8-8750H ?
These are both good enough rigs, but whether they can max the settings is harder to answer to some that don't have similar rigs.

Why even ask this though, you already have the game, just try it

yes you can...but maybe you want to decrease some settings to get consistent 60fps

my laptop is being repaired and i'm using a low spec pc. But, i have the chance to use the warranty to change it. So, I want to know if other brand like Acer Aspire a715 72g (gtx 1050 ti 4gb vram - 12gb ram - i8-8750H) can run this game in its max settings

My 1050ti on an i7-920 almost maxed the game @1080p - had to reduce a couple settings to maintain steady 60fps.

so this spec "gtx 1050 ti 4gb vram - 12gb ram - i8-8750H" can run it without reducing graphic settings? idk so much about cpu and gpu on laptops or desktops

this is the model that i found using the gtx 1060 6gb vram and i5-8300h, 8gb ram 2400 mghz and 1t hdd 5400 rpm -althought some friends told me that this model is very bad but idk-. My other question is if using a hp omen 15 (2018) gtx105ti 4gb vram i5-8300h 1thdd 7200 rpm and 8gb ram 2666 ghz could run doom -mgs vtoo- in its max graphic settings.
2° question is hp omen has a heat pipe in each side -one for the gpu and other for cpu- and acer aspire 7 has the two heat pipe together in one side -you can check it in this page- https://www.notebookcheck.net/Acer-Aspire-7-A715-7300HQ-GTX-1050-Laptop-Review.267346.0.html so my question is which of them has better cool system? I want to close this topic having better options in case if i couldn't find available the asus
acer aspire 7 spec: gtx1050ti 4gvram, i7-8750h, 12gb ram 2400ghz, 1t hdd 5400rpm

Your laptop GPU is probably a bit weaker than my desktop GPU, but your CPU is much stronger. I don't know if the graphics settings I reduced were more GPU or CPU dependent. IIRC it was just shadows and/or some post processing setting, nothing too important.

mmm so, what about mgs v? could i run it using the same hp omen's specs in ultra ?
kotekzot Jan 25, 2019 @ 12:16pm
You should be able to, unless the cooling performance of your laptop is very poor. MGSV is famously well optimized.

so.. I was thinking in 3 options but the problem of each of them is their cool system -specially with the tuf fx504 of asus and acer aspire 7- here they are: HP omen (gtx1050 ti i5-8300h 4gb vram, 8gb ram 2666 ghz, 1T hdd 7200 rpm), ASUS tuf fx504gm (gtx1060 i5-8300h 6gb vram, 8gb ram 2400 ghz, 1T hdd 5400 rpm) and ACER aspire a715 (gtx 1050 ti i5-8750h 4gb vram, 12gb ram 2400 ghz, 1T hdd 5400 rpm). I compared their heat pipe distribution specially in acer and asus and they are too poor in comparison with the hp omen. So, It's like performance or comfort. If the gtx1050ti of hp omen isn't enough to play mgs v and doom in ultra (45 fps as min.) maybe I could take the asus. but if gtx1050ti of hp omen could do that, so it would perfect for me

You shouldn't buy a PC, laptop or no, just for 2 games.

DOOM probably doesn't run as well as MGSV, but I don't have it so can't compare. If you plan to play games on ultra, I think 1060 is the far better bet. Don't expect to run new games like Shadow of Tomb Raider and Assassins Creed Odyssey all maxed out and smoothly though, even with a 1060.

as a owner of a desktop GTX 1060 3GB if you want to get a flat 60FPS or as close you can get wile keeping the game looking good set all the setting to high but its best to just play the game and and mess with the settings, the only thing i would set to max is the Textures, model Detail.
