A quiet exit
So, how do you beat this disapointment of an game design without starting to hate the game?

you cant fight in the open 'cause you get sniped by the enemie tanks that one hits you even your damn tanks and you cant fight inside the building 'cause the totaly not terrible programmed tanks can shoot through the windows with some tries and all you can do is tickle them with your absolutely useless rpgs and nadelaunchers.

Equip battledress and the best launcher and dont forget to upgrade them? And if you dont mind the rank call in Pequod for support.

What are you rambling about again?

Below is a cut and paste from another thread regarding this mission. Its how i ended up handling the mission. If you dont have the gear researched you can extract yourself from the mission. The first pic below shows you how to get out.

Sorry for so many posts but this mission ♥♥♥♥♥♥ me off a lot too when i did it.

To get out of the mission that is the container i was talking about. Container is circled in yellow, radar and radio are in the blue, and white square is where you start out for the battle. Jump on the container, hit E to attach a fulton and quickly hit E again to grab onto the fulton device. Parasite suit makes it easier i hear but if you dont want to farm up Skulls for the parasites you can use the Battle Dress too. Here is the loadout i took with me:

Battle Dress rank5 (r5 has the higher quality headgear)
Isando RGL-220 rank2 (grenade launcher, primary weapon)
CGM 25 rank6 (missile launcher, back)
Macht 37L rank5 (submachine gun, secondary weapon)

Flare Supply Grenade rank3
Flare Grenade rank1
ATB mine rank6
Hand Grenade rank5

For the secondary weapon take whatever you want to deal with soldiers that get close. I picked the grenade launcher because it has a 6 round drum. Useful for dealing with the APC that gets too close. You can use the GL or hand grenades to damage AFVs maybe even finish off tanks that you have hit once with your missile launcher.

The rank6 CGM 25 has 7 shots vs 5 shot of the rank5. Also the CGM25 you can lock on if you want to or fire with no lock if the target isnt moving or you lead it. But it doesnt have a reload animation. You shoot one, hit R to throw it away and immediately equip another one which is ready to shoot. If you release the button that causes you to look down your weapons gun sights it also causes you to throw away the used launcher and immediatly equip another one.

ATB Mines--when you approach the palace stay at least 160meters or more when you lay your mines. Get too close and it starts the battle. Lay these mines out on the roads you see approaching it there 2 asphalt roads and 1-2 roads on the sand (you can see the tire tracks). I would focus more on laying mines on the asphalt road and sand roads where the tanks approach from. The road on the north only has APC's coming in through it so maybe just 1-2 mines there. And again even if 1 mine doesnt kill the tank dont get discouraged. A full health tank need two shots from a rank6 CGM25, but a tank that hits a mine only need 1 shot from a r6 CGM25.

Use Flare Supply Grenades so that you arent wasting time on your minimap asking for a supply drop and pointing where you want it dropped. You need ammo? toss a supply grenade out and get back to fighting. Quiet also throws these out for you when you get low on ammo.

Flare Grenade to call your support helo. But dont rely on them to kill anything, just use them as a distraction. I had one with maxed out rockets/missiles but they still went down easily. So i would recommend equipping them in high level armor and minimal weapons.

Hand Grenades--dont be afraid to use these against APC's or low health tanks.

Artillery--call in a sandstorm if things start to get a little too hairy.

Just ignore him...someone posts an MGSV thread and solid will post up their most played games as a counterargument as if it means anything.

IE
"Hey guys i need help understanding MGSV's stealth mechanics"
"your most played game is CS:GO with 5000 hours, what do you know about stealth"

Deathraven13 Aug 22, 2018 @ 9:42am
This game is pretty easy so I don't understand how you can have trouble with it, here's something that may help you:

No kill, no alert, all vehicles extracted, perfect stealth.

You know what you look like every time you point out someones game library or hours played in a thread right?

You protect community from... people who ask questions? What a warrior you are

One of my favorite missions, it really got my blood boiling when I first played it. You just have to keep moving and use cover when needed. Being too agressive can cause you problems, so as miller says in GZ, "Don't push yourself, fall back to a safe position". Provided you bring your best toys with you, it just takes practice.

I have a hell of a time doing this mission when I do my "no arm upgrades, olive drab fatigues only" runs, as its a bit harder to dodge stuff without the sprint upgrade (sahelanthropus is also annoying because of this)

Doesnt seem like its working...

Three people posted useful info, one person asked you if you were rambling, and one person thinks you are salty. You constantly posting peoples game played info is more of a reflection of you as a person...and how useless you are to this gaming community.

Honestly, I do not know what your difficulty is.

I was able to finish this mission with rank S. And the only condition that I have not yet fulfilled was to capture the armored ones, because this yes is difficult.

My tip is you improve your equipment and prepare a proper strategy. Particularly in this mission, I go with a launch grenades and missile, plus the revolver that launches smoke.
HiTmAn Aug 22, 2018 @ 9:08pm
tanks should be u main priority they crepple quiet very bad .battlesuit .very high lvl rpg
a profile Aug 22, 2018 @ 9:13pm
Run back and forth behind the building shooting rockets, and assuming that if you are out of cover the tanks will automatically kill you. Done correctly the tanks will continually switch between your two reported positions and fire at them, leaving you free to shoot them from the sides from one spot and run to the other. Only real issue is remembering when reinforcements come in and altering your run slightly to compensate. You need to stay active to keep aggro off of Quiet, and you need to regularly wipe any soldiers that try to cross the road in front of the building with small arms fire. Smoke grenades help a lot when the tanks start piling up out front.

The run I finally did it I was actually using the launcher the game gives to you at mission start. I stopped using smokes because it usually meant Quiet getting shot, and I'd tried so many times by then that it was just easier to start over if I messed up after a certain point. So any assault rifle should work just fine.

Alternatively just cheese and use armor parasites, in which case you want to set yourself up around the forward sandbags across the road. Your main concerns will be remembering when infantry are going to come up on the left and properly using the sandbags to block tank shots. You can throw magazines over the bags to keep aggro while you're healing if you get hit.

It's a little bit harder to resupply and keep aggro off of Quiet doing the armor strat, since being static prevents you from moving around to aggro every spawn, but at least one part of this mission is going to be a little bit inconvenient and difficult no matter what you do.
