What is your favorite metal gear game?
I think I might be the only one who actually prefers Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty over MGS 3 Snake Eater. A lot of people hated that you played as Raiden but I thought he was a pretty good character and I liked the outside view of the legendary Solid Snake. I loved the story of MGS2, and I think the bosses are not only fun fights but actually cool characters: Fortune, Vamp especially. Fatman was cool too (side question: was his character gay?).

Now this might be just me and it might not make sense but I think MGS3 had way better combat but for a stealth game it doesn't matter much to me as if you play stealthily you really wont fight only in boss battles and some sequences. Both games have amazing stories don't get me wrong, and i'd easily rate them both the best in the series but I think MGS2 is definitely my favorite.

We all know and love Snake Eater (talking about the song in mgs3), but you can't say this isn't damn good too:

If they made a remastered MGS3 for pc I would easily pay 40-60 bucks for it. I say that even though I can emulate it almost flawlessly with pcsx2 (almost)

Mgs 2 is kojima's best work. I have to agree. However, i prefer mgs 1 setting more.

I still prefer 3, but I was also one of the people who didn't hate Raiden. 2 is a very good game and yeah, it has one of the best renditions of the MGS theme.

Jokes aside, my favorite is MGS3 in every single point. In my opinion, they couldn't add on that in the next games...
