As mentioned, PCSX2 is perfect for this. I have already used it to play MGS: Snake Eater. Had no flaws whatsoever, yet. You can try their official site, pcsx2(dot)net. However, you will need a BIOS dump from an actual PS2. You CAN find some on the internet, maybe a search in r/piracy in Reddit for "PS2 bios ROM?" can help you find exactly what you need (I already found it, so I know you can find it with that search, as well.) There is a basic easy type of setup that happens when you first launch it that seems to work well for many computers and games. Works great with a controller, for obvious reasons, ha.
