Supply drop won't refill my sniper ammo ?

Hi everybody I am a noob at this game, I am not the brightest bulb in the pack and this game is little hard to follow, well for me, anyways I picked up a sniper rifle Renov-Icky-CS at the Mountain Relay Base, this would be “Where Do The Bees Sleep?” mission. I asked for a supply drop about 4 times and my sniper ammo was refilled, after that the supply drop would not refill my sniper ammo. I am thinking this has something to with not enough resources or I picked up the sniper gun to early in game. I searched the web but that ended up with no results, probably did not put in the correct keywording that I needed. Sorry I am lost ???

Remember when you deploy that you have a supply cost ? Well each weapons require certain things like some plants, fuel, GMP, if you run out of one of those they won't drop you the ammo for it.

I guess you runned out of plants if it's a tranq rifle.

Thanks Death I checked my resourses and no its a bullet gun and Minor Metal is at zero so I assume getting more of this resourse will get me my sniper bullets. Can you tell me is there a good tutorial to read up on this game ,or is trial and error the best thing, sorry for being such a noob.

Jazz, you need to develop the gun to create ammo. If its a gun you just picked up out of nowhere then of course you won't have supply ammo for it.
