Nuclear Disarmament has been manually triggered

Probably as a PR stunt before Survive hits the stores. Probably because they will stop the MGSV support soon and they didn't want the event to be wasted.

But instead of doing this, they could have been removing cheaters during all this period of time, developing an anticheat, removing manually triggered blockades, fixing the phantom nuke bug and so on and on. But no, that would had needed much more work and money Konami isn't willing to spend (check Survive for instance).

They decided to leave MGO3 to rot with cheaters and Nuclear Disarmament as something unreachable. Then remove 4000 nukes in one week and finally trigger it manually so that the rat-kids can say "hey, I least we got the cutscene, let's buy survive"

We got it so why complaign ? I'm happy to have obtained it since I hunted more than 1000 nukes so it feels like I deserve it, of course the pro nuclear must be very angry but hey at least we get a reward in survive for having TPP.

Of course you deserve it! Each one of those that have been hunting nukes deserve it, each one of us that have promoting the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ event deserve it, but this feels uncomplete and cheap, that is all, and terribly oportunistic. 20 days before of survival release, c'mon.... removing 4000 nukes from night to day. I'm not going to buy Survive just because they did this. They had the whole ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 2017 to implement fixes.

You neved had any intention to buy MG Survive I guess, you prefer to have never unlocked this then they shut down the game ? We finally got it and it was not cheap, we have disarmed more nuke on PC than on all platform, we should receive a damn medal for that considering we had to fight cheaters ! Now I'm finally at peace.

I'm not saying that, where did you read that? But I won't stop saying this isn't the way to do things. This is like a consolation price and a cheap way to make things. Period.

And for that, and many other reasons, Survive won't hit my library any time soon.

I completely agree with you on this one.
Feels damn cheap, but part I like is all those Nuke Holders, people who bragged about keeping 16 nukes, I would love to see their faces at exact point when they realize they have been defeated in the cheapest way possible.

I haven't checked leaderboards but I think I am still top legit nuke hunter and it feels... meh, if I am top, I should feel like I carried it but I didn't.

But guess that was easier to make than to rebalance Nuke Blockade times (remove) and make people crush the poor nuke holders, a real pathetic move to try to lure people to enter the game once more and maybe feel nostalgic enough to consider buying the cash-grab known as MG:S.

But then again, it is a free move so can't really blame Konami, they have high hopes in that 40$ price tag on MG:S so it is expected they do everything to spend less money in order to maximize profit, it is kind of foundation of the game, invest nothing > profit

When the total nuclear weapons count show up it reads: 1 922 821 295
which is nearly 2 billion nukes. Is this an accurate number of the nukes that had been built on the PC platform?
If so it is damn impressive.
