METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN

Is it me... or is the story incredibly stupid.
Spoilers, obviously.

I mean, throat/language parasites? What the ♥♥♥♥ Kojima... What were you smoking when you came up with this plot. Holy ♥♥♥♥...

Metallic archaea are fictional, but the parasite narrative is an effective metaphor for the reality of how both human bodies and also social bodies function.

the storytelling is frequently very ♥♥♥♥♥♥, but the thematics of the plot itself are golden.

It was an excuse to make your character not speak a lot and in order to have a sexualized character (Quiet) because she breath with her skin....

Yes the story is dumb, but that's because Fukushima is not here anymore to write Kojima story, even if for TPP they were twice more people to write the story (4) while other MGS had 2 people.....

Honestly I prefer MG Survive story, it's more what you would expect except that Survive had a low budget, but i'd rather have a short and complete story rather than a long tedious uncomplete story.

So the story is just an excuse, the main focus was..... yeah Kojima F'ed up that's all ^^

Agreed, even if he had good intentions based on the theme of "languague and the source of discord, etc" the game was incomplete and the plot went nowhere.

Personally, I feel that the Vocal Parasites were cool, especially knowing that affects MB. My problem with them is that since the game wasn't finished, they left the game too open. Especially considering they aren't even talked about in the later games (earlier games, but chronologically they are later). I feel that Kojima was heading somewhere with them and everything would've been resolved, but since Konami decided to trash the rest, we may never know. Idk, that's just me. I just realy wish Konami let Kojima do what he wanted. Sony is doing a good job of it.

The thing is that Kojima have spent too much time, usually they let him do his thing but here Kojima wanted to create the perfect game, pushing the game back again and again, since Konami is all about bussiness and Kojima was spending too much money on useless stuff while he still got his salary was what started all this.

We will see how long it will take until Sony go bankrupt.
It is definitely you, bro. It is definitely you. Set your imagination free and open your mind for the information Code Talker gives. Ofcourse, in it's own vocal parasites sounds stupid. Just like everything else. Just like zombies. Like allien invaders. Like nanomachines, son. Like alternative reality wormhole. Like russian aggressors. Devil is in detales and how it's presented. MGSV (like every previous MGS actually) has a lot of depth in explanation of the weird ♥♥♥♥ it provides. Not on everything though. Not on Volgin. Not on Mantis. Not on a lot of things, because this game isn't finished. But on vocal cord parasites for sure. If you don't get it - you're just ain't build for this kind of scenario, no offense. There's a lot of games with more materially-minded narratives.

Yep. It's like a return to MGS1's "genes". All this game was missing was Keifer actually speaking but only saying things like "Metal Gear? Vocal Chord Parasites? A soviet soldier? Enemy gunship? Revenge?"
The team focused too much, as well, on explaining the little bits of 'mystery' and 'mysticism' that was left in the game through 'parasites' (rip The Pain being able to control bees because why not). I could let the ESP stuff for Psycho Mantis to pass because, I mean, at least it's trying to give a bit of backstory to a character that's most well known for reading memory cards and making you switch controller ports. As well, the move to, instead of condensing the story and interactions into appropriate conversations with little exposition, put all of the fluff and the stuff that actually makes some sense of everything into exposition tapes was very poor.

Edit: In the end, I'd say it's plainly obvious Kojima was in a rush to wrap up the MG series and explain every last detail it could, leaving little to the players' imaginations.

Edit Edit: Just like MGS4

You know, maybe every criticism shouldn't be deflected with "it's just not your thing bro."

you see? Don't talk to me, bro. ^^

I just want to hug you because you speak from my heart (the truth). All the hype about MGS V is all because it's "open WORLD" "MORE GAMEPLAY" HUNDREDS OF HOURS TO COMPELTE" is all a distraction from the REAL issues and that is "LACK OF EVERYTHING THAT MAKES MGSV A PROPER MGS AND NOT TO MENTIONED RUSHED TO THE FINISH"

TO WRAP THINGS UP KOJIMA DIDN'T CARED FOR METAL GEAR ANY MORE AND LACKS MANY INCENTIVES TO MAKE IT GOOD OTHER THAN JUST COPY AND PASTE MISSIONS REALLY....

that brings to my very own conclusion that without fukushima kojima is not that great and should not take all the credit for metal gear solid... and that is coming from a kojima fan too

If I wanted to write arguments, I would have written arguments. I didn't write arguments. Maybe you're just not built for my kind of posts?

I don't really care about your "main point" or the rest of your post.

дак зачем же ты тогда вообще что-то в мой адрес пишешь? Не будь ты глупеньким. Но помни, быть взрослым - не значит быть умным.
