METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN

[Problem] MGSV Causes bluescreens.
Hello, I have problem with this lovely game, every 2 hours or so, game crashes and bluescreen pops up. I dont have this problem anywhere else, its exclusive to MGSVTPP only.
Here's a screenshot of the bluescreen I get.

Same happened to me before I stop playing this, no idea what's causing this but you are not the only one to have this problem, even if for me it as been solved.
How did you solve it tho?

By that I mean I didn't care anymore since I stop playing the game, not that I got it solved, so I got the same stuff wich was bad since I mostly played FOB, so I have no solution for you unfortunatly, but before the game worked without such issue so that's strange. I'm way above the requirement too so maybe an update caused this or the last ending (nuclear disarmement) caused this, I had no such issues before that ending.....
Oh ok I understand, Ill try to reinstall everything including windows and drivers maybe that will fix that

Funny thing happened with an RX 480 I was testing b4 I bought my 1060. All games worked with that card, but MGSV FOB missions caused the cards fan to go into infinite loop. It caused a few blue screens. So maybe the card has issue. Try to run Furmarks 15 min graphics burn in test and then a memory check to see if anything happens during those tests.

also, if the card send your fan to 100% then its the same thing I had until I switched up cards

Well, the RX 480 can pull 300+ watts under load. The 1060 pulls far less. In your case, it could have been an issue of the PSU not being able to keep up with the absurd power draw on the 480 at the same time the CPU is under load.

Its doubtful cause the 480 actually performed everywhere except FOB. The furmark 15 minute burn in was flawless and the other games including resource hog DOOM ran fine as well, only MGSV FOB would go into infinite loop 100% fan for some unknown reason I couldnt pin down. I returned it for an MSI 1060 and lived happily ever after.
Thanks for the replies, ill try all these tonight, will let you know
