Really? that would have been cool to see. I know someone thats trying to do some appearance mods and they said that they wanted to try getting The Boss as well but they were having a hard time finding a good model of her head with decent textures. Thats what got me thinking about a full on prequel-sequel by Konami.
I dont really like the stereotypical badass male characters in other games (ie Geralt). I prefer characters like Snake (especially in MGS2 and 3). He doesnt talk like he just swallowed a roll of sandpaper, eyepatch > cateyes, and while he acts cocky at times (mgs3, smoking a cigar on the plane before he jumped) he still gets his ass handed to himself a few times. I kinda want to see that same thing but on a female mgsv character.
Maybe i'll talk to that buddy of mine and see if i can convince them to do the "The Boss" appearance mod for MGSV. At least with that when people refer to the character as Boss its fitting hehe unlike when you are playing as female staff. Like when Pequod drops you off and he's like "be safe down there Boss" and Asthmatic Wallaby is like "roger that".
Yah since its set in WW2 it would have been interesting to see what they could have done with the weapons and equipment. Like how COD: Unfortunate Warfare or Battlefield 10 did when they went back to WW1 or WW2. You cant fulton anyone out with a C-130 so they'd have to do something like have a Willys "Desert Rat" SAS Jeep zoom in so you can throw in your "fulton" target into it before it zooms off lol.
I was thinking that too since i believe only very few WW2 weapons had suppressors at the time. So it could be more melee centric which would have explained how she invented CQC.
I'll check them out. Thanks!
