What if ... (MAJOR SPOILERS)
So I'm thinking about all this, and it doesn't make a sense to me.
What if...
Ishmael (Big Boss) is just a hallucination. How can he be the Big Boss, when he looks completely different, if u look close at him.
Why, at prologue, the doctor and nurse speak Greek laungauge, and, Venom doesn't undesrstand, and subtitles doesn't show, but in mission "Truth" therea re subtitles???
At ending scenes, what about the quote "There are no facts, there are only interpretations"...
What if all of the stuff taht happened in TPP is just a LIE, an INTERPRETATION of what truly happened...
Back to hospital scene. In prologue, he shows his face in the mirror, where he looks like Big Boss.
But at Truth mission, he looks like how he did before the heli crash and before his plastic srugery or whatever.
What the ♥♥♥♥ was all that with Paz? That doesn't make any sense.
I think I know what is going on. I will post another disscussion post in this forum, soon.

The answer lie in chapter 3.

On the MSX version Venom does not have a sharpnel too, so it's probably because TPP is not finished. Yes Paz was an hallucination since she died and you did not discovered the other bomb (you are the medic from GZ).

What I think is... what if the WHOLE Ground Zeroes and TPP is JUST A HALLUCINATION.
Hypnagogia.
In GZ, there are hallucinating scenes. At some point in GZ, iPod crashes/does weird ♥♥♥♥ and iPod voice speaks Japanese train stations... (yeah) And colours are LSD-like
If u open up the voice file of that japanese ♥♥♥♥, BIG BOSS speaks instead of the iPod woman.
If u attempt to leave mission area, screen effect is getting "grain".
those two things makes me strongly beleive that its jsut hallucination
if u dont beleive me with the hypnagogia, I will explain it in this post or another.

kojima made missions episodic because he wanted it to be like a TV series (lame), so going out of a mission is like when you are close to receiving no images on your TV.

Well it does not matter, your theory won't change the fact that TPP as one of the worst story in MGS nor will it complete the story, we saw that chapter 3 and mission 51 are not in the game, because the game was rushed thanks to Kojima..........

In old warehouse with infected, A L L of them have white eyes.

Code Talker has white eyes. He says " EYES ON KAZUHIRA", can this mean that he is bad somehow?
What about hospital? Around half of the patients have badge on their left eye...

MGS2 and 3 are way above TPP story because some of the story of MGS2 are true to this days and MGS3 and MGS2 manage to deceive you.

So I'll have to repeat myself: No matter your theory it won't change the fact that the story is really bad, even if you come up with a "it's a dream" or "he was on LSD", the game as been rushed that's all. In mission 51 you were supposed to fight Eli who control Sahelantropus (You can pilot it) who says one of his line "What's wrong with fighting the world ?", maybe Venom Snake horn would even be destroyed during that fight so it would match the MSX version.

there are many theorys and youtube videos going into detail about several clues ingame as to what could be or could not be happening. in both GZ and TPP.

subsequent mission in GZ being prefixxed with "Pseudo-realistic simulation" for example.

seeing Paz in TPP when she died at the end of GZ, with ocelot explaining she has hypnagogia. even tho her tape at the end of the sequence saying she is dead and just a dream " and maybe you are to"

raven doesn't listen to anyone outside of his little bubble because he doesn't want to admit he could be wrong.

i will admit, the badge on the left eye thing is a new one for me tho.

Well, what if Venom is in Hypnagogia and Ocelot is showing him photos, thus changing is dhallucinations/dreamgs. I mean, wouldn't make taht sense? Wouldn't Ocelot's explanation speak to Venom more than Paz?

i know the video, seen it. that is what would be happening during the nine year coma. after that ocelot would have to make sure it took effect, which is what zero asked him to do.

Thats ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome as well, and I feel better now cuz it makes more sense, but still, what is the whole TPP after the coma is what is in the video?

theory wise yes, but the prologue is essentially a flashback from when he woke up, which is why the translations of greek aren't there.
