Question about changing Quiets weapons on a mission.

So does it cost any gmp at all? I dont get the alert when i change weapons on a mission. if it doesnt then it would help lower my gmp cost by just equiping her first weapon ( 0 gmp cost) when deploying and then just switch to the actual weapon I want during the mission.

Even if it didn't charge anything to switch their weapons (it probably does), there is always the actual delivery cost itself based on your chopper setup.

The pop up numbers can be a bit odd, but given how supply drops and buddy gear usually works, it would be safe to assume it would cost EXTRA to deploy her default, then order her swapped mid mission.

You can change Quiet's weapon in-field? I never knew that. Figured you always had to set her up prior to deployment.

I still never got around to unlocking her the second time (I've done the replay cloaked in silence mission at times, but never "DO IT 7 TIMES IN A ROW, THEN BLOW IN THE NES CARTRIGE" so she's sitll MIA). So I can't at this moment double check personally.

But there is the "Change equipment" option for buddies. If you can change D-dog's gear, and D-Walker's loadout, unless Quiet's options are just stupid I'd assueme that works.

EDIT: If not for lack of trying to get her back. Quiet, come on. This is embarrasing.

Confirmed. You can change Quiet's guns with the Buddy Support/Change equipment order(but not her outfit).

I know this is years old but this is literally the only post I can find where this is mentioned because I've come across this too where I'd deploy her Naked with the default sniper and then change once I've deployed at no cost.
