I know that, that's what makes this game good.
It's realistic but not overwhelmingly realistic to the point the
game is not a game.
Im talking about gunplay here, It's a unique feature that I think needs more attention.
The gunplay is okay, MGS4 gunplay was much better imo but this one works fine.
No no no
The ocelot uses the Tornado!
As far as the accuracy of the weapons go. Two to three shot bursts for me always hit the thing I want dead as long as they're not so far away that their entire body fits in the sights. Firing rapid single shots always hit what I want them to hit.
Maybe your problem is that you're firing in bursts that are too big, or tapping the fire button too fast, or maybe you're standing straight up instead of going prone, or at least crouching.
Along gun durability and repair cost.
"Not overwhelmingly realistic to the point the game isn't fun anymore"
Guilty as charge but I do use that sidearm-
still a fave of mine due to the highly refractive bullets.
That's why you use only Soviet guns. Say what you will about cars made in the USSR, but their guns, especialy the AK-47, is held in very high regard.
Revolvers, anti-material sniper rifles, and armor penetrating bullets do the trick.
