Tried that one, unfortunately for some reason, it doesn't go well with it
In an actual fob mission the time limit depends on their Security Team. If their security team has S++ combat soldiers in it, it will always be 10 minutes.
dang i hate this, it makes me rush and i don't get alot done, especially when ive alerted the soldiers and alarm and cant escape
Oh believe me I know, I fail fob missions all the time.
What you want to do is if you're low on time and the alert is not going to get called off is fulton or destroy or kill as much as you can before the timer runs out, then jump into the ocean.
If you remain on the base when the timer runs out you get a HUGE score deduction, HUGE heroism penalty, and HUGE GMP penalty because it counts as if the defender or team fulton extracted you, then they make your army pay a ransom to get your Boss back.
So it is best to just kill yourself because you lose a lot less that way.
Well unlike some others I'm an actual army veteran and there's a trick to frustrate your enemies or even seasoned players.
You see in the military there is a form of warfare called a "war of attrition." When your enemy is superior and you just know they will win no matter what, what you want to do is just do as much damage as you can. Kill as many as you can, steal as much as you can, etc.
What this does is it exhausts their money, their resources, and their patience.
There was an older guy on here that had S++ soldiers, he would raid my fob and kill off up to 80 people every few days.
Well eventually here's what I did, when he began to show up to defend his fob, I would run all the way back to the first deck, and just start killing as much as I can. When you kill or fulton while a defender is there they lose espionage points. A lot of them.
When the timer is about to run out or they start slamming you with stun or sleep grenades I'd just try to jump off into the ocean so they cannot extract you.
Fultoning soldiers means they can get them back - killing them means nobody gets them. This guy lost tons of S++ soldiers and eventually he got banned for cheating to get them all back using an S++ soldier generator mod.
So that was how I defeated a guy that had been playing 4 years versus me who has just been playing since September, I made him so desparate he cheated and got PF Banned.
For the veteran part I guess you have not climbed the ranks since what you are saying contradicts the situation considering the game mechanics.
For the part where the guy cheated and was banned do you have some proofs ? Because you can kill a soldier in an ennemy FOB but it doesn't mean that they are really dead since they could go to the sickbay. Also how do you know that the guy played for 4 years ? That seems pretty suspicious so my guess is that you are lying, not that it matter.
It doesn't matter, and neither does your opinion of my army career or that he was cheating or not.
It's not difficult to tell when someone is cheating. If you go to their profile on retaliation, if it has
" - "
for their PF rank, that means they got banned and put on the FOB cheat server.
As for the other stuff, think what you want.
Greetings,
I love wars of attrition. LOL. I've literally ramboed bases down from 10min to 20+mins. And get tough enough and the guys have problems developing new platforms or weapons lol. No resources etc. I ever ran a guy down to 0 MM and PM. He had a few hundred units of the other resources and probably couldn't even defend. But for that to really work well you gotta have a wolf pack giving you 24H coverage haha. Protecting your base and giving the enemy no time to recover. But that won't work well since they changed the wormhole system recently.
Since you mentioned ramboing, the most you can kill is 136 soldiers but the bases need to be 18mins at least for that. It's true that most people go to the sick bay, but at least 20% will die. If they're S++ that will certainly get annoying as time goes by.
In any case seeing 100+ blokes killed/injured does have a certain psychological effect.
Thank You
Well you are wrong on all points but I'll speak about the cheater part, since you are probably a "new player" you don't know about some "old players" that cheated and still did not get banned, may it be ressourcess cheating for PF rank or FOB cheating, for PF rank it's obvious but I'll edit my comment and show you a PF cheater with tons of ressourcess.
For FOB cheaters a quick search on youtube: JohnnyJoker , MGS5, FOB.
If you ask around or do some research on MGS5 forum you'll see that people complain that he was not banned even when he obviously cheat.

Yeah I started around September so I'm new , at least compared to the older people here that have been around since 2015. I did play on PS3 for a year first day release but only story mode really, then had to pawn my game system and game due to financial hardships.
And yes I've seen multiple cheaters never get banned... Konami clearly doesn't care, they just want that $$$
