Best Way To Grind Materials?

As the title says I'm looking for the best ways to get materials. I'm trying to get some of the high grade online items but the requirements for most of them are really high

Level 0 or 1 ones precisely
Just run to the end and you bagged yourself 12k fuel

Go full klepto and extract everything that's not nailed down, if you have the GMP for it.

Fobs events tab. Fast games, lost of points, use them to buy mats. On top of that you will easily cap out your money in no time while doing them. Can buy S++ staff, skins and other stuff with points too. No brainer.

Hm, where can I buy mats with event points? The only things I seem to be able to buy with event points are S/S+/S++ soldiers, some blueprints and variosu base and uniform colours/design and such. No resources anywhere in sight.
Are you sure you are not mixing that up with PF points?

Question is: On what will you use them ? The deployment cost is high, you'll have to farm a lot and wait until it's develloped (6 to 14 IRL with a maximum of 4 online items develloped at a time so unless you spend $ to immediatly devellop them......), all that when the online is pretty much dead or you'll mostly face cheaters.

If you want to grind play an MMO that get updates at least.

Are you sure you are not mixing that up with PF points?

They are separate. I did two events last time I had the game up and running, and both events had their own table. One was the Skulls fob event, and the other was the Mosquito's Legacy. Check here.

Seems it was last September I played then. I would spend a couple hours farming Hard mode and had most if not all the uniques and mats I could, played them a bit more to buy some soldiers as well. But it seems maybe sometimes they might not have mats, now that I checked that page. Sorry thought they all did...

In the end I had so much of everything, the only thing holding me back was 6 day research timers limited to 3 or 4 yellow items at a time.. with dozens left..

The current FOB event has materials in the rewards so I'll probably do that. It's a good way to get GMP as well

Just one question though. Is grinding materials through FOB event rewards a better way to get materials than grinding them through single player methods?

Easily, in my own experience. If you mean material containers you extract during missions, (those have to be processed over time, as well as respawn over time), as opposed to the materials you buy via PF and/or event points which can be spent immediately.

I guess it comes down to whether or not the current event has materials for purchase (seems it does atm?). If so, then an hour or two of farming is much faster than anything you can do in single player.

If you follow the current Hard mode bonuses, ( i.e., this was the Skulls event for example):

Neutralized 5 security guards - 1080EvP
Neutralized 2 security guards with missiles - 840EvP
Fultoned 5 security guards - 2280EvP
Infiltration Successful - 2400EvP
Infiltration Successful: Within 300 seconds - 1560EvP
Infiltration Successful: Equipment grade 7 or below - 2730EvP
Infiltration Successful: Dressed in combat fatigues - 4160EvP

The only thing I skipped for this event was the second one, the missiles bonus, and I'd still get ~20K+ points to spend for 3-4 minutes worth of work. Just work towards finishing it as fast as you can, then rinse and repeat. The GMP alone will queue up in your rewards screen. I had pages of GMP I couldn't accept since I was continuously capped out. FOB rewards are over-generous.

Your worst enemy in the end will be the ridiculous research times required for whatever gold items you're currently researching. -.-

Yeah the current event has materials as a choice of reward. Also thanks for the information and tips. I actually have a mod that removes research times but sadly it doesn't work for online items...

Fob rewards are really helpful apart from redeeming s++ guys. You get 3 per platform per event (5 for combat unit) which means youd have to every wait 2 weeks or so just to get another batch of 3 s++ guys again. Of course this is granted you have maxed out fobs with every guy being s+
