Tactical Espionage Action (MGS1-4) or Operations (PeaceWalker/MGSV)?

Which do you prefer?

Linear with fewer weapons versus open world with missions and base management. Abundant cutscenes and codec/radio conversations versus audio logs and fewer cutscenes.

I preferred the old style. Found it more interesting.

I prefer the new open world style. I like freedom in games, and here is no exception.
