Help help I lost my (D)Dog

As the title says, I've somehow managed to lose D-Dog. I retrieved him as a puppy, but since then I haven't seen him at all. Including when returning to mother base. I've done that a couple of times, gaining Quiet and D-Walker but am still without a dog. What could be causing this? Pls halp.

I understand that. Problem is, when I return to Motherbase he ain't there. I can't watch him grow if he ain't there to watch.

He didn't just dissappeard like that??? Must be somewhere I think you need to look harder

Normally he comes to greet you when you land your helicopter. Problem is, this playthrough he hasn't been appearing.

It's an interesting situation - I'm wondering if one of my mods is causing it?

If he's just somehow disappeared, you might be able to go back to the mission C2W and find him where you found him before. If he isn't there, try going to mother base and calling in your helicopter, that's how the grown up scene triggers. If those don't work, tell me what gameplay changing mods you have. If you messed with anything on Infinite Heaven, you could have changed the progress or something.

He might have skipped the chopper landing in MB.

That's what I was thinking. I play offline and heavily modded. Ironically I went back to try and create a more stable platform for mods - and look how that turned out.

Not a problem. I'll just switch everything off, go back to the beginning and get things stable before I try throwing fistfuls of gameplay changes in.

Had the same issue, D-Dog not growing up ever, and D-Dog not at motherbase.
I just needed to call a helicopter pick up.
I always skipped landing zones with Infinite Heaven and kept using Return to ACC

He disappeared for me for a few days before he grew. Don't worry, he'll still grow soon and then you can use him
