NEW WORMHOLE GENERATOR AND CHEATERS...

I will try to keep this short and sweet, thanks for reading:

I was pretty stoked for this new update, specifically the changes to the wormhole generator. Having it trigger automatically seemed like it could make FOB defense way more fun, since it gave a new edge to the invader.

My opinion changed today when I defended against a person using infinite hp, infinite ammo, and all guards stunned cheats. He was also carrying the new wormhole generator.

I have fought many cheaters before and never worried about it because they could always be stunned and extracted in some fashion. This is no longer possible. With the new wormhole, it is impossible to remove a cheater from the F.O.B. as it will trigger whenever you attempt any sort of stun.

This game is now officially unplayable until Konami addresses the use of third party programs and trainers. I wont hold my breath for that to ever happen, so to all you Bosses out there who will continue playing- you're all diamonds.

As for me, it's been fun, but I am going to say farewell to my favorite franchise of all time.

I defended against one too, if you know they are a cheater, use the fulton launcher, even with the new wormhole if you hit them they get fultonned anyways

That means you have to straight snipe an intruder with the fulton rocket to have a chance. Maybe something was off with my loadout, but the guy I was shooting with my rocket kept having the baloon fulton spawn overhead, then it would pop, then he would wormhole. I will doublecheck. Still seems unplayable.

It is certainly unplayable, thanks to Konami not having a good enough idea of how PvP works

yeah that thing is very bad for FOB's in general, even without cheaters.
you should not be offered "second chance" as inader, it is stupid, it only allows total idiots to deal with higher FOB's.

as for cheating, we could see that one coming and it increases number of people able to teleport after getting stunned.
It was possible even before to teleport with cheats, at least for cheaters who had 2 working brain cells.
So it is not really a new "feature", it just adds to $#itfest

I sound like a grumpy old man saying this but in my time you had to carry it out all the way to the end and if you mess up you die, you had no chance fighting everyone unless you did a perfect run.
And that was it, you are either at the best or you lose, no compromises.
This lowers skill requirements by a ton and only thing that it does is dumbs down the game.

Well if you want to deal with a cheater now you'll have two options, 1 is to make him run out of time, 2 if he doesn't use a low combat stat soldier and you use the lower stun grenade pistol you can shoot once wich will lock him for a few seconds then use the rocket launcher, if you use fulton wormhole I have no idea if it would still work, this looks pretty tricky, zam.

sorry for the necro but if you kill them then its useless right?. so unless they have infinite health they cant use it right?

Np, we all float down here. I haven't done much pvp since the changes, but the mechanics of the wormhole are what stop them from being killed. If you land a deathblow, they just move to last placed whg. It gives them infinite health essentially. Like Asterix mentioned, a proper fulton rocket will remove them from your FOB, but sometimes this is impossible depending on other exploits they are using.

Fulton launcher all the way. Also deals with max ammo cheaters abusing the energy wall.

People often criticise the launcher for being a cheap defender weapon, maybe it is, but I'd much rather have it than not or else the cheaters of this game would have gangbanged every player out of it by now.
