Single Player Mods?
After trying online play and finding nothingbut hackers shooting me through walls from across the map with heavy machine guns with 0 spread, I have decided screw it.

I only play offline, so I am trying to find mods or other ways to givemyself the cloak and infinite suppressors early on.

Modding seems..super complicated :( Any way to easily get infinite ammo/suppressor and invisiblity early on so I can just derp around like I want?

Again; this is for single player only. I don't cheat in online games/pvp games.

IIRC it only takes like, 2 hours to get to where you can make Stealth Camo?

I am, but either addons say things like 'install snakebite to use this' and I don't know if I can install snakeite via the NMM
or things like
'In the "0" folder of the "master" folder in your game directory, replace your 00.dat with the one in the download, making sure to back up your old one. If using a modded 00.dat, you'll need to use something like MGSV QAR to combine everything together. More instructions on that included with the download, as well as how to recreate the mod yourself. The specific file modified within 00.dat is something called EquipParameters.lua under Assets > Tpp > level_asset > weapon > ParameterTables > parts, or, for unlimited items, EquipParameterTables.lua under Assets > Tpp > level_asset > weapon > ParameterTables.'

which goes RIGHT over my head.

Hell, the mod manager is not even finding MGSV, so I don't see why NMM has a page for it. XP

yeah. I'm trying modes with snakebite and getting 'exception length cannot be less than zero'. No idea what that means.

Help?

Lots of mods on nexus aren't being updated anymore, the only mods still being updated are TMWSTW, Infinite Heaven, Ultimate PP Mod and anything sweetfx related.

Yep, 90% of mods for this game got discontinued

Lots of mods still work for MGSV and are still actively being developed on Nexus. Try reinstalling Snakebite mod manager, and in the settings, make sure you direct it to your install of MGSV (it might not find it automatically).

Just to be clear: you're not trying to use the Nexus Mod Manager in conjunction with Snakebite, are you? You're only supposed to use Snakebite.

Only snakebite. The mod manger does not even find MGSV. So I boot up snakebite, try to use either the .zip or .MGSV files, and get an 'exeption length cannot be less than zero' error every time :(

You should be able to go into Snakebite settings. In the settings, it should show the path to MGSV itself. For most people it's C:ProgramFilesx86/Steam/SteamApps/Common/MGS_TPP

What does it say for you? Does it show the path to the game or something else?

NEVER USE THE INSTALL .ZIP OPTION ON SNAKE BITE.

Here's what you need to do.

Uninstall snakebite [located in appdata\snakebite\], then go to your library, right click on MGSV and select properties > local files > verify integrity of cache and wait for steam to revalidate your MG installation.

Next, download snakebite 0.8.6a from here[www.nexusmods.com].

Set up snakebite, locate mgsvtpp.exe, usually located on C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\Common\MGS_TPP, and done.

To install mods, go to the MODS option of snakebite and locate the .MGSV file you want to install.
