Best sniper to take down tanks and helicopter

Uh... if you want to take out armored vehicles and helicopters, the only real option is the 50 cals. Serval and Brennan. Better off with a rocket launcher, though.

I find fultoning tanks is better than blowing them. They're kind of blind too so they're easy. And stealthy (obvs, as long nobody sees you).

About the helicopter........ I don't know of any sniper rifle (really, I only use non-lethal snipers so idk), but I usually use any rocket launcher with lock-on such as killer bee or CGM 25. But they're too noisy and you will need around 1-2 shots to take the enemy chopper down.
So I usually look for an isolated place with some rocks where I can hide myself.
Isolated because 1. To avoid killing someone when the chopper goes down. 2. To avoid random alerts from soldiers.
And with rocks because once I shoot at the chopper it will shoot back at the place where I was shooting at it, so I have to hide or otherwise I will be turned into cheese (yes, this cheese with holes).

But you only have around 25 hours in the game so I don't really know if you already have those weapons and fulton +cargo 2.

Btw, in early missions I only shot at choppers when it was a side op, I would have never shot at them in a main mission.

In peacewalker the snipers were ok for those cases (helicopters), but in this game I think you can't sleep or kill the pilot. I thiiiiiiink. I guess that's because there is a pilot but it isn't a "real pilot", just an "image". Lol.

Some people say you can use a cardboard box, shoot at them and as long it doesn't strike an alert it works, but I've never tried this myself. Also, some people say you can use Quiet for this but again, I don't know how to do it so I never tried this myself (I guess she can't do it when she's equipped with a non-lethal sniper and that's why I can't do such thing, I think...).

Yeah you can stop tanks by just shooting them with a silenced gun. Once they stop, it is incredibly easy to just walk over and fulton them.

Serval is a waste of time on the higher level helicopters. You'll be there all day.

Only if you have the absurdly expensive to use FOB versions. And if you're fighting helicopters, there's no reason to use that crap.

It MIGHT require some decent amount of penetration to get through the glass but if you aim it right you should get the kill.

I can't answer your question myself because I only discovered this when I had a grade 3 sniper. It wasn't the anti material ones though.

If you want me to guess, I'd say they all work.
