Couple Questions...

Is there a way to easily and quietly kill someone after a take down? Right now I am taking them down but then have to shoot them with a loud gun to kill them.

Where can I get silencers? Can I get a silencer for an assault rifle?

If you CQC grab people you can knife them in the chest for a silent kill. Usually better off just throwing the KO'd guard in a dumpster or toilet. Or just fultoning them.

You'll be able to silence pretty much any gun once you unlock the master gunsmith.

Silencers come with weapons developments.

How are you taking them down? CQC? From behind or from front?

From behind, instead of taking them down, press and hole the left mouse button. This will "hold" them. Don't release the left mouse until you want to release them. When you're holding them hold down Q for more options. You can interrogate them. You can also kill them using your knife with the E button.

If you have already taken them down with CQC or by any other means, IE: ZZZ or STN you can wake them up by kicking them then hold them to interrogate. The interrogate is more useful than killing them.

He's way later in the game though for someone just starting out. If they're just starting out, they're probably looking for weapons developments that include silencers.

You can also customize weapons from the ACC (helicopter) when you obtain enough of a weapons variety. It will be the top option in the IDroid on the motherbase tab when it becomes available. With weapons customization you can use different parts on different weapons which means you can use a better silencer on a weapon that doesn't have it natively.

Fun fact: Just because a gun is loud does not mean you will instantly go into alert. If you are trying for perfect stealth bonus to your score then killing them will essentially nullify the bonus anyway, that being said you can shoot at them from around 100m or more and though they will react to the gun they will not call a full blown "Combat Alert", but they will enter the search phase so watch out.
You can get some pistols pretty damn early that have silencers on them,though they break like they are made of paper at R1 so keep that in mind. It sucks having your silencer break inbetween trying to rapid fire.

Hey guys..No I am not really stealthing. I like playing it more like an action game. So I just run, hide, shoot and at times run up and just do the hand to hand combat option. It's just thta when I throw the guy to the ground he is unconcious. Idk why I can't just knife him real quick and keep it moving.

And yea I know I am running all over the place but silencers are still helpful as far as flanking and taking guys by suprise.

Yeah, you have to grab them and then knife them. But one of the earliest upgrades for your assault rifle has a silencer -- in fact, I really thought that I started with it. Of course, it gets used up quick if you're shooting a lot with it.

Here's a little tidbit you might not know. A couple times my silencer was either removed accidentally or was somehow auto-removed. If you Press and hold 1 then press G it will put your silencer on or take it off if you have a silencer. It took a little bit to figure out that my silencer was not on. You will see the Silencer if you press and hold 1 though. If you don't see the silencer, you'll still have to unlock it.

I definitely don't have a supressor for my assault rifle but I do have it for the dart gun. This method worked for that...But I am confused how I unlock it for the rest of my guns. Where exactly do I go to get the unlock ? Is it in the motherbase menu somewhere? I only see an option to unlock other types of weapons.

If a weapon doesn't have a suppressor by default, you can't suppress it until you unlock the Master Gunsmith side ops. Once you finish those, you'll be able to customize(almost) any weapon. Adding suppressors, swapping scopes, swapping magazines, etc.

What is your assault weapon? When you unlock the AM MRS-4, you'll have a suppressor for an assault weapon. Apparently it's at R&D Lv51.

I have a "AM MRS-4" assault rifle. The picture of it has a silencer on it, so I don't get why it's not available. Do I really have to wait till level 51 to get one?

If you have it, you should have a silencer. LV1 MRS-4 has a silencer. try putting it on. (hold 1 and press G)

You'll get to the point where you pick a sniper rifle with 75 ( or more ) rounds and a very decent silencer, the AM MRS 73 (or 75 idk)
And the Serval Anti Material Rifle which has less ammo capacity, but is certain death even if you hit an ultra armored guy in his pinky toe.
As for the quick stab, press CQC and hold, then press E (if I recall) to knife execute the dude

Also worth mentioning, it's more useful for you to use non-lethal weapons and extract everyone and their moms, considering the good ♥♥♥♥ will unlock when you have enough R&D levels
Once you have most of the good stuff, you can kill them all you want.

No, I swear nothing is there when I press 1 and G. It's strange. It does work for the stun gun.
