Setting off C4
As the title says, after you place some C4 explosives on a target and walk away, how do you set it off if you still have some C4 left in your arsenal? I'm using the keyboard and mouse and if I hold the right button down and try to press the left button, Snake tries to place another C4 where I'm sitting.

OK, nevermind everyone. I figured it out. When equipped with the C4, hold down the right mouse button and hit the "E" key. :steamfacepalm:

It should be the "use/interact" button to set it off. I play with a controller (it's "Y" on my controller), so I'm not sure the specific key for the keyboard.

Yeah, the "E" key is the interact key on the keyboard. What confused me this time was I hadn't yet placed all of my C4. There was still a couple in inventory, so of course, Snake tried to "place" another C4 instead of detonating the one that's already been put somewhere, at least when you try to press the left "attack" button. The other time it worked differently was that I placed ALL of my C4 around the installation and I set them off in sequence with the attack key, or left key on the mouse, while still holding down the right mouse button. It worked since all my C4 was placed at that point. It won't work if you still have C4 in inventory, thus requiring hitting the "E" key.

Try placing C4 on guards some time. You can stick it to their backs, then run away and blow them up. :glottis:

Keep that in mind for later because there are other things you need to do the same thing for. Decoys come to mind right off the bat. When you deploy them, you need to release/pop up the decoy. It's done the same way.

Decoys also make noise like thrown magazines, so you can lure guards with them, then KO the guard with the decoy deployment.

Yeah, but they can also stun people on deployment with normal and active ones.
