METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN

Should I play Ground Zeroes first?
I know this question's been asked many times, but I sort of wanted more info.
So I know it's a prequel and it's fairly short. But at the same time, I don't have much time to play games that often (I'm in Uni), so I was wondering if it's worth buying and playing GZ before TPP as I was thinking when playing GZ that I would be forcing myself to play through a "demo minigame" before playing the "actual" game itself with more content.

I guess my overall question is, would it ruin the experience if I played TPP first then moved to GZ (kinda like a DLC prequel), or would I be missing out if I played in that order?

I don't want to watch a playthrough of GZ because I plan on playing it at some point anyways. (Unless convinced otherwised that GZ isn't worth it)

Playing GZ is worth it as an introduction to how the game works, and the fact it unlocks content in TPP.

Hmm, I didn't know GZ unlocked content... Lol

GZ is worth it. Play it first, you won't regret it.

But DE is cheaper than buying TPP + all DLC. And GZ is included.

Too short if you only play the main mission once, maybe. Playing it for unlocks and high ranks actually takes quite a bit longer.

I suppose. Reason being that you'll have no desire to do it the other way around. (Playing Ground Zeroes after TPP)
