How is development/missions time counted?
I can't understand if time (required side-ops or base development) lapses only when I play game online or it's conditioned by system/server time.

If an items says it takes 36 minutes to develop, it takes that, 36 minutes to complete, you can sit on the ACC and wait for it to finish or you can do missions and side ops as well, it only counts the time you spend playing the game.

Yellow items are developed online and will continue to develop even if you don't come back to the game for a while, those are server sided.

If there's a round globe kinda thing next to the development time, it'll work while you're not in game. If it isn't there, you HAVE to be in game for the timer to progress. Like Coyote said, just AFK in the ACC. Or, my personal favorite, hide in the back of a truck with the waterproof box as it drives around the map. As you hit checkpoints, it'll sometimes trigger the resource processing timer so your unprocessed resources will become processed for use. All while you're off doing other things.

The same rule is for yellow and white Combat deployment missions? The former are attached to server time, but for the latter you have to be online, right?

It's less the color and more if the globe is there or not. There are white deployments that are online.

NP. I know it isn't listed on every tab in the iDroid, but if you press H on any screen it'll show you a help menu for it that should explain a few things you might not have picked up on yet.

Yep, I use the help button, but it didn't answer to my question, so I asked players.

Good to know, a lot of people don't realize it works so many places since it isn't listed.
