C for crouch or stand-up if you're in a box.
You can get some pretty good distance in some places. Longest on record for me was 271.60. That was in Africa when it was raining. Rain can help with the distance so be sure to use a waterproof box.

Technically, It's Water Resistant box or C.BOX(WR) and is a branch off C.BOX(DSRT)

You just haven't met the requirements to develop it yet. I'm not sure how far a dry box will go. The attempts I made before doing it in the rain with a WR box didn't even come close to the mark. I got the achievement only after unlocking the WR box and in the rain. That's not to say that it can't be done. My previous attempts were in Afgahistan. You might be able to make it when it's not raining down the hill at outpost 07 in Africa. It's a pretty big hill. Just make sure you're not lined up to go off one of the cliffs or you'll lose the box.
EDIT: Tested, you can more than make the distance at Outpost 7 with a dry box.
Seamus helped too. :P I really only helped with a good location. Funny thing is. In my test with a dry box in Africa, I beat my original slide and now hit 348.50. :)
EDIT: It's really a community effort around here. Someone either knows it or knows where to find the answer. Sometimes I need help, sometimes I help others. Just as it should be. Hang around long enough and help others when you have the answers. :)
Honestly I feel bad for all the goofy named DD soldiers we all abuse.....I mean ♥♥♥♥ man there must be a handful of diamond dogs who jsut get yo yo'd back and forth between us all..heh diamond yoyos
Helping outside of the game is completely different from inside the game. Inside the game is fair game, but even sworn enemies inside the game have helped each other outside the game. It's the nature of being a game.

Just make sure you're sliding westbound, since that side is the steepest.
What's your PF grade. I was the same way when I started. I didn't start having problems in PF Battles till I hit CCC. I'm B+ now and some weeks I don't move up. I have never hit the bottom 3 yet, but I'm sure it's going to happen sooner or later. Getting the in the top 3 to move up does become harder once you hit CCC. Anything below that is child's play. Granted it's taken me a very long time to get there. Many months. If I had to take a guess, I would think that those who hit the bottom 3 are ones that no longer play the game and have taken hits to their security and resources, but can't say I've paid enough attention to it to care all that much.
What I've done since making CCC is save up to the max (10 of each) Liquid Carbon and Anti-Ballistic Missiles. I'll use all 10 on a fresh week. I ensure I hit every non-cheater with them and then I hit the cheaters starting from the highest one down. You get more points from a cheater and the more cheaters you have any given week, the more likely you are to move up as long as your durability is higher than theirs. So any durability that is close, hit those with the missiles.
If you start using your missiles on a fresh week and continue building them throughout the week you can actually hit 13 people total with missiles. The initial 10 plus another 3 you build along the way, so keep that in mind.
Although, if you're not having any problems in PF League, yeah, your probably too low to see the problems, plus your an active player who hasn't be farmed, so you'll fare better than most down on that level.
