PES 15 Windows 10 Pro

Hi,

I have upgraded my windows 8.1 pro to win 10 pro, and then i got some updates for the game from steam but now i have tried to play but no action, i mean when i clicked on Play Button no action get, game is not working with any compatible mode or run as admin, any help about this matter.

I've had this issue since I upgraded to Windows 10. I went to the steamapps folder and attempted launching the game as an admin... no joy, just an error message that says MSVCR100.dll is not working. I tried reinstalling VisualC++ (this is the problem according to the internet)... still no joy.

I've tried running it in compatability mode nad that doesnt work either.

Basically either Konami need to patch this or Microsoft need a patch for Windows 10 to make VisualC++ apps work... I'm out of ideas at this stage and I fear that it's out of our hands.

Would Konami patch it though, or just wait for PES 2016? Bit cynnical of me, but no other games are having any problems for me.

I had the same problem so I reset my laptop and then reinstalled steam and pes. It is ok now.

That's right Gittum i have tried as you did, now im re-installing the game and we will see.

I directly upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and had no problem at all. Maybe you guys are having this because you did a clean install?

no, i don't think so, i have upgraded also directly, re-installing game in process and i will see after that.

i have re-installed the game and the steam also but nothing changed, still not working.

Ok, regarding my issue, I have figured out what it was. There was a surround sound programme made by Razer on my rig, and it doesnt work with Windows 10. PES was trying to use this on startup, it broke, and PES closed.

I removed the programme and now PES is fine.

Look for similar programmes and uninstall them if you dont need them. I'm sure theres a Windows 10 compatable surround sound programme, should I ever need one.

I didn't either. if you right click the .exe file and run as adminstrator, then you will get your error message. I googled the programme in the window bar at the top and diagnosed the issue that way.

It just looks like it doesnt start, but something will be derping that PES wants to use.

yes, you are right, idid that and i got this error message: The application was unable to start correctly (0x000007b). Click OK to close the application....

Figure out what that something is and you should run the game just fine! :)

what do you mean that you reset your laptop, do you mean you have downgraded to win 8.1 or 7
