Oh god, this story...
And i hoped for a logical detective explanation. F*cking demons. And our character is a demon. And everyone is demon. I hate when detective games pull this crap, shows incapability of making logical story

you seem impatient, can't you handle suspense in a game? And wait for the end to get the explanation?
You prefer to have an expected pathed road?

I expected a detective game, but knew to expect different when i saw the oculut stuff. The demon thing cought me off guard and is very interessting and original. Its a nice story adventure. If you like more detective like games try sherlock holmes games.

I'd wager he's arguing the expected "cop" out had happened and was expecting to be getting into something layered in politics and hard to uncover.

So far I was also a bit disappointed, all the mysteries so far are pretty much answered by "daemons". The worst being Elizabeth's murder, we took all that time investigating for really no reason, wasn't even a possibility for us to come to the actual conclusion.

sound for spoiling it....

Demons are not the bigest problem of it's plot. Why you introducing many politicians and choosing 1790+ years? You could give us drama about conflicts of personal and state interests(especially with a good historical background). But no: characters acts like furniture, then some demons comes out with "Luke I'm your father" cliche. With a pretty intriguing start we've totaly Rubbish at the end. Mystical ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in 21 century is not cool(except Broken Sword, Broken Sword is good).

I was a bit disappointed with the occult thing tbh its like when someone has the only explanation of 'spaaaace magic' it was one of the many things i hated about sherlock holmes the devils daughter compared to crime and punishment

I agree with you

Well, the puzzles are most definately logical, the best strategies of play seem to be logical, the consequences and rewards are logical, and as far as I'm concerned, demons (as defined within the story) are as logical as any undiscovered species and more logical than most religions. There is more in heaven and earth than is drempt of in your philosophy, Horatio! I recommend asking your doctor is dammitol is right for you.

There were two important moments about demons before Mortimer's speech- Elizabeth's and mother's words. And Louis should trust them without any straight evidences(all what we have- it's bunch of myths, occult crap and "strange coincidences" ). But no: "We're demons Louis, accept this post factum". It looks like devs just can't bound this "demoniacal" part with other parts of plot better than "hmm, they are highly likely strange fellows, because that's told me mental unstable ♥♥♥♥♥ and mother"(small hints not includes: they have a plenty interpretations). As Stanislavski said: "I don't believe".

I mean do you see how much occult ♥♥♥♥ there is in the game it was pretty obvious from the start there would at least be some supernatural elements.

all of which you can reproduce in reality basically. Except Louis visions, i guess. Hallucinations could show you many things. It would be so much funnier if his mum just went crazy and real conspiracy was something really dark, but belivable.

Oh, guys, 4th episode was bad, but the 5th is a total garbage. As we expected they shouldn't focus on demons- it ruins all conception of expected political intrigues or occult detective. Final scene is some kind of Dragon Ball without colour balls and total destructions. You can kill demon(higher level than you btw) with a damn nail if you want.

What's most irritating is that they left the d.a.m.n. "spear of Longinus" unanswered! That left me so angry, cause I was at my wits end trying to get the right one, I even took notes and drew pictures with descriptions but it was futile. I wouldn't even know if I got the right one. By the way, at the ending scene, I tried to stab Mortimer with both the Nail and the Spear but they both got the same ending >:(
This game was intriguing in the first episode then fell apart completely. The voice acting is absolutely atrocious, the worst I have ever experienced. When I first heard the main character's voice, I laughed out loud. He's supposed to be french aristocracy, not a buffoon from America. The 4th episode - my god - the 4th episode was just a solo adventure walking around talking to people one at a time. There were no group interactions, nothing exciting, just a complete waste of time and a lazy effort.

The discovery about the demons was laughable. They had so many opportunities to introduce more political intrigue and make this a game about truly shaping the world on a macro level, but they pissed it away with this "twist" that actually ruined the experience.

The faces. The faces in this game look like zombies. I cant get over how much they messed up Sir William. Seriously. Play the first episode maybe, but after that this game is a giant waste of time and money.

I want my money back.
