how do i change the fov

HOW THE ♥♥♥♥ DO I CHANGE THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ FOV IN THIS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GAME?

There is no way to do it in game menu. You can edit the user.cfg in C/Users/Yourname/appdata/local/4Agames/LL - in subfolder for Metro LL. The default is 50.xxxx - Try set your own settings there. I have never change it. I had no problems with the default FOV.

This is vFoV, not hFoV. So don't try to make it more than 60 or you will get lots of distortion and clipping, though you shouldn't need more than 50.

ACTUALLY GOOD VERT FOV IS 74-75 IST EQUAL TO HFOV 90 ON 4;3 AND 106 ON 16:9 .

Play with anything less and you may have heavy headaches and sickness.

mine had like 53.565 or something. I read a guide that said 57 is perfect for 16:9 and once i tried it i havent tinkered with it since :P

i just followed this (russian) guide http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=683575374 it works fine.

Hmm...tried it multiple times in user cfg and get CTD after load screens. Can get it to launch at "53.625"...higher makes it crash (??).

Well, finally got "75" to work...looks good!

For the record i play 3840x2160 on a 55 inch tv monitor with setting of 65 in both the first 2 Metro games and FOV looks perfect. No distortion and I can see all I need to.

i'm not trying to necro, but whenever i change the fov, and try to launch the game, it just opens up the game window and then crashes. Anyone have any clues on how to fix this?

That and because of vertical fov it is 59 to get 90 horizontal on 16:9.
THX - had it set but forgot the correct value. 59 worked perfect 1st time.

not entirely sure, bbut i thought there was some fix by forcing it to start fullscreen:
