Processor: Intel (R) Celeron(R) CPU N2840 @ 2.16GHz 2.16GHz
Installed RAM: 4.00 GB
System type: 64-bit operating system, x64=based processor
I'm new to PC gaming and stuff so if that's the wrong info, my bad lol

Your RAM is okay, you can easiely run RE-RE2 with 4GB. Idk about your CPU... So what videocard do you have?
Zephkiel Mar 28, 2015 @ 10:41am
In most of the case in gaming, you ned a GPU (graphic card) as powerful as possible, while retaning the CPu and the ram on par or above what is recommended.

So we miss the most important info : the GPU.

dont make purchase.
i can tell that you dont have a large power unit just by knowing what cpu you have, which means you dont have a decent gfx card. even if u did have a good gfxcard, your cpu will be bottle necking the whole gaming process.
chech the recommended and required spec of the game, your cpu mostlikey wont par the required spec. you can check these specs @ the store page.

That Celeron is a APU and has integrated graphics. http://ark.intel.com/products/82103

Have you played the first Revelations on that machine?

I have seen someone play Revelations 1 with that prozessor, but since Rev 2 is much more demanding, despite having different info on the store page, i would say chances are good you will not enjoy the game with that.

So idk what a GPU even is lol and all I know is this is my laptop with intel graphics card built in. and yes, I play Revelations 1 on this easily. But thanks guys :) I didn't wanna waste $40

As for Graphic processing Unit.

Like CPU, but for grapic.

You might not know how a computer is done, but i'm sure you'd know how to read what people write to help ya.
I'm sure of it.
Am I?

if you check the requirements on the store page they pretty much share the same required specs, so in theory if you can run rev1 you should also run rev2, but rev2 is piss poor optimized, so you might strugle to run it, at least before (and if) it gets patched properly

I know nothing about computers lol but I know you guys are saying my laptop would not be able to play it
oopsrydiditagain Mar 28, 2015 @ 3:55pm
I don't always trust the requirements because my laptop can run other games that my laptop doesn't meet the requirements of. I usually just turn the graphics to medium or low and it works perfectly. Except games like Revelations 1 where it ran perfectly right away

CPU http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_processing_unit
GPU http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graphics_processing_unit
APU http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Accelerated_processing_unit

I think there is no Demo of it. But you could buy the first Episode to test it. It is not that much and would not get lost in your account if you do not play it until you get a more powerful system.

True lol I think I'll do that

To update you guys, I got episode one and I have mixed results. Cut scenes are too much to take so the audio and video aren't in sync. Also, it takes forever to load in loading screens. Like, I literally wait at least 5 minutes at each load screen. But gameplay is perfectly fine. Works perfectly even with the graphics turned up.
