Gamebreaking Bug: Natalia can't interact with the fingerprint panel in chapter 4
I'm currently on my second playthrough to unlock the good ending when I suddenly ran into this serious issue.

I have no problem examining the panel with Barry but the game requires Natalia to do it to advance in the campaign. Too bad the game won't let me, the command prompt simply doesn't show up for her. I already tried scanning the game files for possible corruptions but Steam found nothing. No matter what I try, I simply can't get this door to open.

Could you please come up with a patch for this? That's a massive gamebreaking bug.

Bump. This bug needs to be addressed, I won't allow this to be ignored.

I'm still unable to acquire the good ending due to this.

Very odd, try alt tabbing, navigating with mouse, hell - even try standard costume. If you have a pad, maybe switch to that. Maybe windowed? I can't think of any other ways to try... I wonder If the problem would persist if someone loaded up the save, but I don't want to screw over my own game :P

Changing the controls doesn't help, neither does switching the costumes. I'm already playing in windowed mode since this game has serious performance issues at fullscreen for me, it even tends to crash if I deviate from my current settings.

Seems someone got it fixed by redoing the whole chapter... That would suck I guess... I got a bad ending on normall, did survival for the good ending. Don't think I would want to touch it anytime soon, aside for raid mode :P

Good luck with your error! You could try fullscreen just to be sure, but If a guy had to restart, it might be corrupted save...

I would HATE to redo the entire chapter, it already was a massive pain in the ass. And as I said earlier, Steam hasn't found any corrupt files during the verification.

Also would the game even keep track of my decision from chapter 3 if I restart chapter 4 via the campaign menu? I'd probably go nuts if I'd have to see the bad ending again.

It would keep track, you only need to do 3 and 4 to get the ending. I hope you didn't do 1 and 2 as well :P
I did it for the sake of new difficulty unlock (beyond survival, forgot the name).

For few days I thought that the bad ending is in fact THE ONLY ending. I expected new epsiodes in DLCs or a new game because of that :P
Well, the good ending also implies the same thing from the bad ending (to avoid spoilers) just more people live through.

Oi Pessoal estou passando pelo mesmo problema, já desativei o todas as dlcs do game e tentei
apenas com a Natalia mas não deu certo, nem aparece a opção vou reiniciar esse episodio para ver se dar certo... abrax

I think this bug is because you're running the game ussing a Windows with 32 bits...
You need use 64 bits, Windows 7 or Windows 10. :)

Got the ban how many years ago for piriting using PAC Steam. Like I even care heh.

I have W64 and never got a problem playing this game.
Or they can change the game's configuration and try using 30fps.

P.S: You're still a cheater. A profile with VAC Ban. Eww...
