Does Barry get a shotgun??
I have 4 shotgun shells in my inventory but no shotgun.

He doesn't.
You always (on replays) find two shotgun shells from the Gimmick box behind the Bar, ALWAYS, he probably meant that.
It's an item ID error by the devs.

i think its just a bug. Claire: shotgun, SMG, and smaller magnum. Barry: Magnum, AR, and Sniper Rifle

Yup, he gets it in ep4 on the crain. But its kinda useless for the rest of the episode.

Crane Ep 4, but I absolutely never found ammo for it anyway - and switched back to my usual setup the next workbench I found quicksmart.

I believe ammo doesn't drop for the gun on random unless it's one of your 4 equiped. Meaning when you first get it you don't have any ammo. And when you put it away in cold storage, you'll never see any shotgun ammo either. Frankly, the gun is near uselsss because of the lack of ammo placement for it. Even in episode 4.

Yeah I had it equipped for a time, got down to about 2 shells and was still just finding more AR/Rifle/Pistol ammo. Decided to ditch it after that.
