Raid Mode "Powering Up" Skill?
It says to hold down the RT to charge up and do more dmg. But when I hold the RT down it just keeps auto-atking. Anyone have this skill working?

The charge up skill is for the RT prompt when you stun them while standing. So shots to the head until they stagger, then charge up the melee. I don't think you can charge the ground takedown.

Ok thanks for the help. So i guess thing get harder later on? Because I dont have to charge my melee to kill them. I can just press RT and kill them in one kick.

I'm level 38, with a level 40 pistol, on normal zombies once I stagger them now (takes more than two shots) they have roughly half health, R2 knockdown and they are still alive, so I have to finished them off with the ground execute.

On any mobs higher than the zombies it takes more staggers and executes if useing the pistol.

Is that with charging or not charging the RT?

Not charging, like you, I didn't figure out it was for the staggered promt since the tooltip also mentions knifing speed.

Hm, ok thanks. I'm just seeing if i want to even use the skill later on. Trying to make a build for when I can play with friends.

It does get harder as you go but if you want to make things interesting you should be going for missions 2-5 levels higher than your actual level. I also always try to go for full medallions so no herb use etc.The game is pretty easy so far, I think because I have lots of experience with previous Resi mercenary modes.

Bluh, this raid mode would be so delicious with online coop. I loved teaming up with random players seeing their playstyle, inventory choices and helping them etc in RE5. That same camaraderie you can get playing dark souls while relying on emotes to communicate. Its frustrating. : /

Yep, I go and get all 5 medallions before i move on so i always out lvl the next stage. Same, trying to do a build that only uses guns with crouch so I get the +dmg. I'm playing Moira as well. i think she looks cool is why lol

I went for one 10 levels ahead to get the raid reward ... it didn't go well.
I did level 39 mission at level 31 .

It dosen't do you much good though because higher level weapons scale to your level

Only place I would even recommend going 10 levels ahead for the reward is level 11 missions. Then just set your level to 1. It'd help to have some weapon masteries or scavenger for additional ammo since ammo is the only issue some ever have with higher difficulities.

Heck, just got my first legendary weapon a few minutes ago. If I would have had the Trident (legendary variant of the tripleshot handgun) for it, I'm sure it would have been even easier.

It was going dry that killed me. I did do level 11 to 1, and with ammo chance on kill but I think it's just way too early, I killed less than 15 mobs on a 30+ level before running out of ammo.
