Add to this, certain discriminatory practices like -
.Lack of content/modes.
.Poorer graphics options on PC compared to the weaker consoles or "downgrading" to accomodate consoles.
.Delays up to months at a time for unknown reasons.
and a feckless attitude towards PC ports in general.
This game does seem to be taking the brunt of the negativeness and unfairly in porpotion to the actual issues with the game itself imo but when you try to pull the rug from under your customers then you kinda brought that on yourself. Telling people you didnt mean to mislead them and it was all a mistake is such a weak defence no matter how you interpret it.
Im sure part of it is also due to the fact that the PS4 is selling gangbusters and a feeling that game companies dont see a need to put effort into their PC ports since they can get away with just making sure the PS4 version is the best performing. Whether that is true or not idk, I personally have not seen evidence of it and it certainly does not seem to be the case for this game as it the PS4 version is the worst performing of all the versions.
I think Capcom just did not bother to put more effort into the game to get it to function like it should and we're seeing the consequence of it. Add to that we're porbably gonna see this play out for another 3 more weeks which makes Capcom's descision to put out this game in episodes seem like a huge mistake in hindsight.
Not to mention that stunt of pulling co-op.
Yes it indeed exist, along with joystick, racing wheel, Power Gloves etc. But they are added peripheral to PC. Mouse and keyboard is still the general and main peripheral that PC gamers use.
And you are wrong, mouse and keyboard can be used in every game and is indeed superior in high precision aiming games, and this Sir is a high precision aiming game. You need headshots to get more damage and proper control to avoid damage. If you fail to optimize the controls for the main peripheral your customers use, then you indeed failed in delivering them a good experience in said platform.
Part of the problem why we keep getting these bad ports is because of certain people who are stupid enough to say 'Looks like the game sucks, I'm pirating it' on the steam forums here. Honestly, that's the last thing you want Capcom reading. What you want to be saying is 'Looks like the game sucks, I'm not going to play it'. If you don't like it, don't pay for it, but sure as hell don't threaten to pirate it and actually pirate it. Otherwise Capcom and companies like them assume their bad PC ports are okay, and it's pirating that's the problem here.
We need these companies to take the PC market seriously, and focus on a proper PC release. And some people are unintentionally trying to undermine that with their feedback.
