Eventually. There were rumours about Capcom not having that much money a while back so it might not be as ambitious as RE6. Resident evil games are constantly coming out so I wouldn't worry about RE7 coming out or not it seems inevitable, the last new resident evil game came out only half a year ago so just wait a while something new is probably coming after the RE2 remake.

To answer the topic the end of the story is right before the china bioterror attack in RE6 but the plot of the game is unrelated.

There are other games in the resident evil franchise besides Revelations? No joking aside: Are they any good? I stopped with RE5 because it was just some rather boring shooter.
