Game won't start
The game won't even start, just goes to the useless "...has stopped working, Windows will find a solution..." blah blah blah. Anyway, was hoping that someone here might know more than Windows does about fixing the problem.

Same here. Ironically before I was stuck with God awful stuttering for the past coupe months in spite of having a 980M with up to date drivers. I finally decided to give it another go for the first time in weeks and now the games crashes when I try to start it up. I rarely say this but this games PC port is garbage.

I had a different problem. That game starts and just stays in black screen. I Did something and it helped for me.
I just went to game folder. clicked on rerev2.exe properties ----> compatibility ---->check to run with compatibility mode (windows 8). and in settings checked to run in 640 x 480 screen resolution. Aaand run this program as a administrator. Apply. ok.
Game started fine. just changed in game resoliution and it seems like it works perfect.

I tried booting up the game with the shortcut on my desktop, that seemed to get it working.
